Especially after it gets heat soak on lap 2.

Car & Driver has had bad luck with the 20" wheels/tires on their Type R long term car. Also sounds like they are starting to get the 2nd gear issues many owners have reported;

It also feels as if the second-gear synchro might be starting to resist our most aggressive advances; we're going to continue to monitor that as we carefully choose a path along our crumbling roads.

The other day, a coworker parked his CTR next to my STI ( we were both at the far end of the parking lot)
I noticed he was wearing snow tires already, even though temps are still pretty high (high 60s during day)

Other than that, the CTR makes the STI look much more mature, for adults rather than young people
I do like how it looks in white though.

My son has a Civic R. He likes it a lot.
I haven't driven it, but will next month when I visit him.

I like my Type R as a daily but FWD is not ideal. It's not as fun as the STI or the Focus RS. I also get the 2nd gear grind about once a week

On the other hand the stock tune is really good.
