Why are you buying a FMIC? Is your car making more than 400 WHP (note I say WHP and not HP) to warrant a FMIC? If not, keep the OEM TMIC or even upgrade to a TMIC.

your question is too late, he clearly said he's hella close already, and that means he's past rational questions about the purchase.

Even if OP had already BOUGHT the TMIC, it wouldn't be too late. Most items can be return and refunds are issued

I am looking to sell the FMIC setup that came on my car if your interested (TXS FMIC, APS piping, synapse BPV). I'm not interested in making big power, and would rather have the quicker spool times.

Then why not put a smaller turbo instead and leave FMIC in place?

Well its a stock turbo, unless I swap a WRX turbo on cant go much smaller. And a smaller turbo is just going to create more lag.

From what I've heard mishimoto FMIC isn't as good as other brands. I dont have experience, but I've been told to stay away.
