Smile programmer/database design

hey, this is kinda fishing i suppose....but i'm currently working a day job in NJ, but need to be making a little more side money.

Anybody in the area with a small buisness in need of some database design or programming? Anyone know someone who would benefit from the service?
I do acces, sql, vb... I've built a lot of small databases for managing inventory, scheduling, contacts, whichever. I have 4 yrs of experience and can offer lower rates than full time programmers. If you're looking for a customized solution, I work very hard with clients to get them exactly what they're looking for. I also do various other IT consulting and can help you get a network up and running.

lemme know if this is of any interest to you!

Default Anybody in telco equipment installation looking for a job?

We are currently searching for resources to fill 1300 openings across the US (lower 48 plus a few in HI and AK) for a major telecom equipment vendor/installer. Openings include TDMA, CDMA, 5ESS switch installers/ testers, turnup/NOC, cabling/wiring installation, and numerous other skills. All openings are for hands on technical skills, ~3-4+yrs experience. These are contract positions, expected duration 3months. There is a SLIGHT possibility of extension/hiring.

Our client is aggressively hiring for these positions. Some candidates have been accepted (pending b/g check) in 24 hrs.

Since there are so many openings our client can't get things finalized for all ~1300 to start on the same day, so they need people who're comfortable with being on-call and who can start within 24-48 hours of being called. People on the accepted but inactive list MAY receive "standby pay" while they wait for their "number to be called."

If you are interested in finding out more about this position, please PM me and I'll give you my work email to send resume.

This is totally serious (I'll hope that regular OTers agree that I'm a pretty serious guy) and a valid way for somebody who needs it to get at least a few months' income going.

Cheers

DjB

hmm. Their contract was revoked recently by Credit SUisse First Boston. They don't offer the level of services that other off site tape backup storage companies offer. Iron Mountain cannot seat on their laurels. They need to update their methods. In any case, Congrats on your new position.

The company I work for, BAE Systems Platform Solutions in Johnson City, NY, just announced that they will be hiring 100 new employees. We are in need of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, marketeers, and program managers.

My company produces flight controls, engine controls, and other avioincs for a wide range of military and commercial aircraft (both fixed and rotary wing). We also produce power systems for a wide range of space applications and ground vehicles, including hybrid-electric drivetrains for busses and light to medium trucks (both commercial and military).

Here's our website: http://platformsolutions.na.baesystems.com:8080/

If interested, email me at [email protected]

I'm a junior Industrial Engineering Major at Virginia Tech. I'm really looking to get an internship possibly with something automotive because I love cars even though I have more of a business edge with my major. Young and motivated to work and learn. Grew up going to races, car enthusiast. Looking for an internship/co-op starting this summer. Please PM me if you know of anything! Thank you :-)

Currently employed by Bloomberg LP in NYC as a level 2/3 technical support specialist. My position allowed me to gain knowledge in pretty much all areas of LAN/WAN technologies except for Active Directory which I'm learning on my own. In all, I have about 7.5 years of IT experience. I wish to leave my firm and seek employment as a Network Administrator or similar position in northern NJ. Here is my resume for review:

http://www.scils.rutgers.edu/~velard...0-%20netwk.DOC

I am available to start within 2 weeks or less.

Any Oracle DBAs looking for work in NYC (Financial district)?

If so, hit me up with a PM or email. Experience with Veritas and / or Solaris also useful.

Default if anyone needs a website...

Just started a new design firm and looking for clients. Like I said, we JUST started up, so our Website isn't even finished yet. If you go to http://www.fishbowlmedia.net you can see a little bit of our portfolio. We are trying to build our client base right now, so drop us a line while we can still offer a ridiculously cheap price.

It's bad because i am only 1 payment in on my 05 Legacy GT, but with my infocme still comming in and getting unemployment i will have the next 6 or 7 months of payments saved.
