I too agree with the clean appearance that comes from debadging.

I think it is to let those that know, know by the design and exterior cues. Those that don't shouldn't and screw em' they are not going to buy it anyway. Most consumers and public are stupid. What are the diff between an A4/S4. I know and a debadged Suby, Audi, Ferrari, Aston Martin, look fabulous. Debadged Mercedes, BMW, Lambo, Maserati, and Range Rover however in my opinion need their badging, they look sharp that way IMO.

Oh by the way Aston, Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, BMW, MB, Audi debadge at buyers request as a courtesy. How many of you can tell the difference between the 3 different Aston Maritns without looking at the badging. I can, and they are very subtle. I love Aston Martins and I am surpassing a 2010 S4 for a WRX Sti so I can get an Aston sooner. Overall ownerships costs of the Subaru and reliability vs the Audi. There will be an Aston in my garage by 2011.

Forgot my whole point. I am a pilot and many of my clients that own multi million dollar jets that I fly for them, want anoymonity. They don't want the anyone including air traffic control to know ownership and who's on board. Hence random registration and tail numbers, and call signs. I think the same point can be made about debadging cars. Most if not all Luxury auto makers will debadge as a courtesy. I know the majority of cars over $100,000 aren't even badged except for the manufacturers emblem. I can see the point behind it.

i partially debadged my sti trunk. i left the center blue star emblem on and the pink sti/imprezza logo next to the keyhole, but removed the subaru badge on the drivers side. i did it becuase i think it looks cleaner. i left the sti one there becuase i feel the keyhole looks odd if its all alone.

I like the blue Subaru oval on the back of my car. I think it is a very nice design.

The Impreza badge is also low key since it is all on one rectangular piece.

I like both pieces and would never remove them. But then again, I like the stock look and some people don't.

That's everything I was going to say. No nooks and crannies for wax build-up and I've always thought any badgeless car looks sleeker. To each his own.

not busy at all imo...I personally like having the emblem on the center and everything else debadged.

It's just a cleaner look. The only insignia on my car is on the front grille.

Have to say it, all the pics look better with badges on. Chrome accents are nice.
