I thought I was the only one who notices "slow" corolla drivers.

in the meanwhile . . .
at all times, stay away from parker place, arberdeen and yaohan, especially in the afternoon.

oh yea, don't forget to stay away from richmond.

I've had my shares of terrible drivers today, and I wonder how in the world did they ever get their driver's license.

Related note: Does anyone else think that their parents should be re-roadtested?

I swear my Dad claims that he has not been in an accident only because he hardly takes notice of what's going on around him.

To me, a test or an examination is only a measure of how much you can recall or how well you perform at that particular moment!

Well, I fear for my grandparents as they are extremely old, and still driving. Which results in me fearing for other drivers and pedestrians
Although it is inhumane to restrict seniors from driving, I'd like to hear other opinons and comments on this issue.

The older you get:

1) the crappier eye sight you have
2) your reaction time is a lot slower
3) and you start to lose concentration on your surrounds.

Yes. My parnets weren't that old back in the day, but now my dad thinks he's superking of the road. Most of the time he drives ok, but I can tell his reaction is getting slow. He still lectures me about my treadwear, passing cars and stuff.

10 cases of asian stupidity (mostly in Richmond)
4 cases of middle aged white stupidity (or is it arrogance?)
2 cases of idiotic Khalsa stupidity (truckers on cel phones)

Call me what you will, but it appears that stereotypes are there for a reason.

So....

Chinese people can't drive,
Brown people can't stop shooting themselves,
white people can't stop squeegeeing windows and begging for money,
Natives can't everything..

What the hell is this thread about anyways?

It's even making me, non asian, uncomfortable

Moderators have such problems with people using profanity, posting in wrong forums, TyPinG StylES, and sticking to topic; but crap threads like this allowed to go on?

This isn't VIC - Vancouver Impreza Club
it should be - Vancouver Ignorant Club

"Natives can't everything" I like that. Regardless, how about you, in no particular order:

2) s t f u
3) go back to TO
4) **** yourself

I saw a good one the other night. A narrowly missed T-bone by two driver's who both deserved to be in a slow speed crash (no body damage...although brain damage has already occured it seems).
Honda civic with four boys in it with an N on the back weaving in and out of sparse WV traffic on Marine Drive totally don't see that they are running a red light and almost get nailed by cars coming on both directions, then an old WV betty decides to do a U-turn in the middle of the block out of her parking space with NO SIGNAL basically right in front of the speeding Civic. She DID do a shoulder check and saw the red light and of course assumed no one was coming (which excuses her pulling out of the parking space but not for doing a U0turn with no signal). She goes RIGHT in front of the civic and from my angle I though for sure the civic would hit her. If she had seen the civic she probably would have hit her brakes and the civic would have hit her but she was oblivious and kept going allowing the civic to miss her (civic curiously did not flash ANY brake lights). I passed the civic later down the road and the guys (I won't mention any race/nationality) we all talking away TOTALLY oblivious to what was going on in the road.
