Although I would wish for the bronze to also come with red or at least black enkei decals, too

I thought about that as well, I just looked up and I can just purchase the red ones separately for cheap.

Heck I even ran into these, although I stopped myself out of fear that would step my car into a less tasteful category, I don't want to stand out.. too much. lol

That's a cool idea. What is important is how the color will compliment the rest of the wheel, and the car as a whole. I imagine if you decided on bronze, maybe an even lighter bronze in that ring decal? A lighter or darker shade ring decal of the wheel color would be my immediate consideration. Then there are colors that stand out yet flow well with its surroundings

So, I decided to get a set of RPF1 in 17x8... only problem is I'm split between getting the new Bronze or classic gold... which would look better with Spark Silver Metallic?
or...

???

I would go with the classic but I am biased

I can't argue with gold on Spark Silver... you guys aren't making it easier. I may go with gold just cause it pops out more against the silver and almost $100 cheaper. I could really use that other $100 for other things on the car.

Was gonna get from Tire Rack but I just saw Oakos has free shipping so I know where I'll be ordering the wheels from next week!
Tires gonna be from tire rack and picking up some extra valve stems for the TPMS so I can reuse the stock ones.

Nearing my 60K service as well @ 57k now... Gonna be fun when that happens.

I wish companies would invest more into white wheels.

My front end is still stock. I need a grill. The back end is definitely way more modified so I guess its time to treat the front soon if my funds allow it

The chrome delete looks great, eustacer. Still amazed that Subaru thought that would be a good idea.

Your exhaust looks aggressive haha

Thanks i love the color matched piece and yeah the exhaust is a bit huge but its really too quiet. Its just a muffler delete so its quiet at anything above 2k rpm

Default 2012 Impreza rims on 08-10

Has anyone ever seen these rims on an 08-10 Impreza? How does it look?

I think they would look good on a narrow-body.

Quick Google Search but I couldnt find any pics for it.

Default New to the forum

Hey guys I wasn't sure where to post this but this is an 08 forum and mines an 09 so it's the same. I just did a rebuild on my car. Heads rebuilt, planed polished. New gaskets etc.. it was a complete rebuild except for the rod bearings everything else in the block was replaced. Now the car wasn't on the road for 8 months and no battery in it. Just got it back on the road last week and I find it idles way to high like 1500rpms at idle in park and just feels like it always wants to move now I know these have electronic throttle bodies and I wanted to know if there is a way to idle reset it because it's driving me nuts! It will even get as high as 20kmh without hitting the gas at all. This is my first ever build on my own on a Subaru so I'm still in the finishing all the tricks and Kinks stage

If any of you would have any ideas on what else I can do or If there is a way to reset my idle it would be a big help!

Not exactly sure what your problem is here. Give us some more details. If you're problem is a rough idle try some injector cleaner to start with.

Sorry I edit my post when I realized it made no sense. I tried sea foam all the old guys at the shop I work in swear by it. I'm a first year apprentice but I've been around cars my whole life just Subaru is still a bit new to me. I even cleaned out the egr. Tried cleaning the throttle body up a bit. But I still can't get it to idle lower then 1000 rpm so it throws the p0507 code I'm just stumped. Is there a reset I can do or anything?

I have heard of relearning the idle. There should be a process you have to go through to get it to figure out idling again. I would google idle relearn on 09 impreza. see what you come up with. It shouldn't be too complicated of a problem i would imagine.

i have found a relearn but of older models. It might still work for the newer ones I haven't tried it yet. Is there an idle control valve on our models or is it just electronic?
Thanks

My '09 5-speed idles high when it is cold and then settles down as it warms up, or if I touch the throttle it idles down sooner than if I do not touch the throttle.

Maybe it's something to do with that system. Maybe a temp sensor? Maybe it thinks it's cold? Or maybe that idle down is on a timer. Not sure.

Mines an auto sadly. It shouldn't be idling at 1500rpm thoughand it will climb up to 20kmh without even touching the gas. I pulled the egr off after work today cleaned it. Sprayed some intake cleaner in the intake. I even pulled the manifold off and tried cleaning out the first cat and cleaned up my o2 sensors. Putting it. Back together now and if that doesn't work I'm gonna take the CAI off and put the stock one back on and see if that does anything.
