What's Margarita gonna run?

I think all the RWD cars should move up to MR so we have a giant battle all year long!

I don't think Chris had signed up yet when I posted that list, or I just missed him

Thanks again for everyone who helped put it together, was a good time.

Question though...I wasn't sure who to PM at this point, but is there anyway to get my weekend membership number to register for a regular SCCA membership? The DLB website doesn't have any log of it and it's not in any of my email confirmations...

I finally gave up on that and ate the weekend cost.

That happened with the Kempton Rx, so I ate it for this one, was hoping to make one of them work before Susquehanna. Perhaps I'll call the number on the website and see if they'll make it work.

I want to clarify- I never asked the organizers for help on it, so it is my fault- not theirs.

But calling the SCCA to sign up for the membership might be a good place to start. They might be able to manually discount it to reflect the weekend membership cost.

Thanks for everyone's help, Paul B and the guys from this weekend.

I called up the national office and they got everything sorted. It turns out they can use up to 2 weekend memberships, so I got a total of 30$ discounted.

All is good to go, they were very helpful, and I already have my member number!

She is probably not going to be racing next year.

I am ok with everybody going to MR. The same way I said that anybody on MR could go down to PR since you were just missing the carpet.

Eric Helgesen is the one that always takes most of the pictures.

He said that he did not take many pictures this time. I do understand him. It has to be kind of boring to spend the day taking pictures while everybody else drives :P

A couple of events ago asked if he could have a donation from the SCCA drivers to help with his photography classes, new camera, etc...

We gave him some money as a thanks for the awesome pictures he takes which we use for facebook and such. But I do not know what the rest did.
Maybe its related.

Most likely.

I would love for you to do it, but I cannot do notes in English. My brain stops for a second to translate if more than 2 or three notes come at the same time. I think I may have issues with that at the course.

Can you tell directions in Spanish? If so, you are hired

I'm battling rebuilding my +19TB NAS system, which includes my entire portfolio amongst other things, as well as process the photos from the weekend. Everything should be done and uploaded before Thanksgiving. I'll send an email out across the Yahoo group when everything is good to go.

Sorry, brought camera to take pics but spent more time at Latin American rallysprint and time trials than the rallyX. However, something worth sharing is that if you want to watch an event on main track and a rallyx on the BIG course, you can from the turn 10 tower and not be in the dust.

Thanks to everyone that spent time taking and posting pictures.

I had a great time out there, my times while not great, were getting better in the morning and I didn't have any penalties. But once I got in the mud after lunch I couldn't get any traction. My tires were so caked with mud it felt like I was driving on ice. I didn't even bother with my 4th run in the afternoon.

So are there any tricks/tips for cleaning the car afterwards? I hosed off the wheel wells and underbody, and washed the rest but I still worry about mud and stuff in the hard to reach places.

I'm looking forward to next season!

Good idea to rinse off trans and rear diff as mud can keep those insulated and they're hot already.

buy a lawn watering device and attached a long rope to the end. put that out in the yard. drive the car over and turn on the water. use the hose and rope to move it around underneath the car, especially wheel wells/suspension. You'll be amazed at amount of red mud that remains on the yard.

tip is from Vince at all aspects who was bitching about all the dirt that got in his eyes when working on my car.

Dig the mud out of your spring perches so it doesn't retain moisture and cause the perches to rust.
