Thats probably why I am so confused. This is untouched on my car. However I dont have "stereo" sound on my right side of the car. I guess you not having sound is a bit different than my problem...

Hm, I am not too sure then. I would check all connections to make sure all the wires are properly attached. My issue was I was't getting sound up front at all until I plugged the telematics in. Best of luck trying to find the issue! Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

Deciding what to do next as I have a few ideas, but not sure which direction to go.

1. Super Pro Rear 24mm Sway with braces and endlinks

2. Uniden Radar with mirror tap and mirror mount

3. Subispeed V1 Tails

The good part about the radar setup is I can keep it from car to car. I know the issues with the subispeed tails are pretty common, so it worries me a bit. However, they just look really good and update the rear end. Plus their CS is great.

Either way, I am nearing the end of modding this car as I have reached a point in my ownership that I am extremely happy with the current state. At this point, it is merely just adding little touches here and there, maintaining, and enjoying the car. May change the wheels up to something different in the Spring, but otherwise I don't find a need to try and find other mods to do just because. It drives, sounds, and (IMHO) looks great. I have gotten a small itch to get into something else (surprise surprise), but keeping my feet grounded enjoying the car a bit longer before I start turning my gears. Besides anything that I go to next will be a big jump, so will be on my best behavior to be patient haha.

I've got the super pro endlinks on my car after the kartboy ones starting popping after two months. They are great.
and DO NOT get the subispeed tails. they will fail.

are you running the stock sway? Yeah my kartboy endlinks I had in my Wrx popped like crazy. Ended up removing them and went with a different brand.

That’s what I’ve been hearing. Such a shame since they look really good.

Car looks great. I have the uniden R3 with the wire taps for both my subies. It works great. Too good almost. It picks up radar so far away you start to think it's false and speed back up. Then BAM there's a cop!!

The lapis blue is truly a beautiful color, and the clean almost oem like mods you've added really make it stand out. It looks great!

Nice. I am looking at the same sway. Looking at the understeer kit by Cygnus. Seems to be a great package that will definitely improve the handling.

Haha that's funny. The R3 may be a little overkill for me as I was looking into the DFR7. Stil has the GPS option, but a little less than the full on r3.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. Lapis is a color you have to see in person to appreciate. Let alone, make sure you stay on top of it to keep it looking as good as it can. I just wash the car this past weekend and it reminded me just how much I love the color. It's a really satisfying color to wash.

Great thread and such tasteful mods. I picked up a 2018 sti this past weekend and I'm totally new to the world of Subarus. I've learned so much after reading your entire thread. Pretty cool you're in the tri-State as well. In for more.

Congrats on the pickup! A part of me wished I waited another few months for the 18's to come out for the updates, but I wasn't aware of the changes that were being made at the time. Jealous of your front end and brakes!

I appreciate the kind words. There are so many cars out there these days that are the same builds over and over (wide bodies, air ride, wraps, etc.), which are definitely cool. However, I like to keep my approach of simple and clean. OEM+ is my favorite way to mod my cars and with this one, it's really proving to be one of my favorites I've owned.

If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

So I have been thinking of putting the rs05rr's on the for sale block. Would be selling the whole package (wheel/tires). Anyone interested??

I have to ask, why you thinking of selling 'em? Moving on to another wheel, I'm guessing?

Just wanted to confirm whether this color has metallic flake in it? In some pictures it looks like it does, but not in others. Was just curious what the real story was, as this is one of my top color choices when I pick up an STI next year and I wanted to know what I'd be getting.

Lapis blue is a pearl. My suggestion would go to a dealer and see it in person. I was set on wrb or white and then I saw lapis in person and changed my mind. Still love it to this day. Great color.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was a pearl, but certain pictures/videos of the color seem to show some metallic flake in direct sunlight. Maybe that just the natural sparkle?

Unfortunately, it's not a common color around here, and at least when I was looking around a few months ago the closest dealers that had them were still hours away.

Installed a few small mods last week. JDM grille, OLM led black/clear turn signals, carbon fiber brake handle, and a Black gcs e brake button. Small details but I love the update.

Looks great! Front end really cleaned up nicely with the JDM grill.

Reading through this thread really makes me want to pick Lapis Blue as my STI color choice this year, and then use your car as a reference!

By the way, I'm sure it's mentioned earlier in this thread, but what steering wheel are you running? I really like the small look I see of it in your interior shot.

Thanks! It is the Subispeed pk wheel.
