What piece of technology do you feel like you are the last person on earth to own?

Tonight I purchased a webcam to be able to do the voice chat thing with my friend who was recently injured as a private contractor in Iraq.

I felt quite behind the times as I purchased my silly little $20 camera.

Then I remembered, I also have no MP3 player of any type.

What technology do you feel way "out of the loop" for not having?

i dont have a tv bigger than 27 inches

i never had an answering machine

The only reason I have a webcam is because it is part of my laptop. I don't know anyone that lives out of town that I feel the need to see their face while I talk to them.

I also don't have a MP3 player. I use my phone when I really want to listen to something, but I haven't listened to any music (NPR only) for about the last 4 years.

I have, in the past, considered a PMP (I will avoid the ipod like the plague) but they all fall short of what I really want from a device. What I want is always 6 months out, and by the time it is available I want a new technology included. Probably for the best, I have better things to spend the cash on.

I didn't have my first debit card until last year. I'm almost 25 yo.

I bought a printer for my computer 2 months ago.

No mp3 player.

I don't have Blu Ray.

I don't have a webcam except for my new laptop that I just got last week. It's got one built in but I don't much expect to use it often (I chose to have it as part of the config since it was less than $10 to add to the options).

Anything else I'm "behind" on is because I probably don't care. I'll probably realize there's something else when someone else posts it

I got my first cd player in my car when i bought my mazda a year ago... everyone was telling me its about damn time. I never cared since i used my ipod anyway and still dont use it.

Hey. I have one of those great big satellite dishs. A Laser disc player - they look like an LP record. And yes after careful shopping I bought a BETA video player as the sound and audio was close to CD quality. Luckily someone broke into my house and stole the Beta player.

I wish someone would pull the great big sat. dish out of the ground and drive off with it.
