Default My new ADV.1 press shots

Got photos of my ADV.1's today, they just landed in Connecticut at Excelerate Performance, waiting for them to ship out to me now. I'll have more photos once they're mounted on the car but it's going to be a few weeks, acquiring parts (lugs, tires, etc.) Enjoy!

I follow those guys on IG, and I love those wheels! Good to see someone rocking them on a suby. Hurry up and post up some pics on the car hehe.

This is the closest I've got yet hahaha, I might have time to do some test fitting later today.

They are 19x10.5 +15's, once I test fit I'll have a closer idea of the tire size but I'm between a 285/30, a 285/35 or a 295/30 depending on clearance and poke. I know that I will be a little more than a half inch more aggressive on the outside and lose a bit of clearance on the inside, but until I actually get the wheel on it's difficult to say. I try to utilize as minimal camber as possible.

Rota DPT's hahaha. They've been fooling for 4-5 years now (not that I ever intended them too, I have never been ashamed of rocking them). It was the weakest point of my build, hence the recent overcompensation in the wheel department.

really looking forward to this... They are definitely going to add that jaw-dropping factor to compliment the kit.

Thank you Mr. Chow, greatly appreciated! I'll catch some fire for the 19's, but every time I look at my car I think, "Man, this car makes wheels look small." I watch a lot of high end vehicles of similar dimension running 19's, even 20's (see GTR) so I decided to pull the trigger and go big or go home. Seriously can't wait to test fit them later.

that kit demands a 19'' wheels. If you just look at that massive front lip add-on you've added about 3-4'' of extra bumper in the front and an equal amount in the rear. That's why even 18's on this car look small (I assume those rotas are 18's yes?) I think you made the right choice. Haters will flame on the "extra weight" and blah blah blah, but in the end this car is about doing something clearly unique and awe inspiring. Plus it will probably land you a sponsorship of some sort eventually.
There can't be more than a couple guys in the county rocking a full chargespeed kit right?

Yea the Rotas are 18x9.5 +20's (I had to run a 5x100-5x114.3 adapter, so they were originally +35) with a 275/35/18. These ADV.1's weigh about the same as the DPT's thankfully, I was really surprised by how light they actually are, I should weigh them.

You've got my plan down to a T. This car is more of an aesthetic thing for me at this point. I have too much invested into it to take it to the track and honestly it's not the ideal set up for that type of use anyway. There is one for sale in California and the only other one I know of was shipped from CT to Hawaii, but I'm sure there are a few more out there.

the girl was nice enough to let me use her heel as a size reference.

Hahaha thanks man. They should look even better installed with some rubber around them.

After some calculation, I think I'm going with a 285/30 and possibly swapping out my suspension. I considered air ride but picking up an air ride sponsorship right now is getting drawn out and I can't afford to wait much longer.

I am running 18x12 +15 with a 295/30/18 with track/autocross appropriate camber with no issues. You should have no issue at all fitting a 295 on there.

Apetron don't you dare post that godly piece of machinery in this thread, you know I lose my **** over your car.

I know I can fit a 295 without any fitment issues, I'm just wondering if aesthetically the car will look better with the 285. My car is obviously very square shaped in many ways. A squared off tire may just look choppy whereas a slightly stretched 285 might give it the finesse it needs. It's a difficult decision. Not to mention the restricted tire options at this size.

I believe the APR kit is slightly wider than the Chargespeed. 40mm-50mm IIRC? I think the Chargespeed is 30mm.
