Default Location of stock front o2 Bung for my 97 Impreza

My car has a wonky custom exhaust with no o2 bungs. I am going to weld them in and can find a decent photo of the downstream but not the upstream. It looks like its on the 90 degree portion right after the header section, but id like to get it as close to stock as I can. Anyone have a from above through the engine bay photo or anything that can give me a good idea of where to make my mark?

You're right. If you look at the catalytic converters for your car on rockauto.com, they show images of the upstream cat, which has O2 bungs on either side of it. It sounds like you may not have a cat, but the pics will still give you an idea of where the upstream bung goes.
