Default Why do I only have 500hp

I have a wrx 99 sti with a built 2.5l fully closed deck mods include: cp pistons and rods standard crankbig intake manifold bigger throttle body big injectors cams not sure what type.heads with all the fruit . Standard exhaust headers.custom up pipe 3.5Ē turbo back exhaust straight thru . Frontmount intercooler . Prescion turbo 6466 (35 psi) ems ecu . Eboost2 . E85 fuel . Tuned by one of the best in Australia. Why am I only making 500hp? Like I see other ej25 on YouTube with similar mods making 850hp on 35psi . What should I do to make 800 ? Weíre do I start and whatís the difference between a 500hp motor and a 750 hp motor? Iím so confused I mean my motors fully built other than the crank with exspesive parts and I see engines with exact same upgrades dif brands an stuf obviously, making crazy power . Can someone please help me figure this out . Thanks heaps guys appreciate all your comments

Upload it to imgur.com photo hosting and then post it here using the little mountain button (if your on a computer, I donít know what mobile looks like) which puts your image hosting address in the middle of these image brackets

Standard headers might be holding it back a bit as well

I made over 600whp on stock wrx headers and a smaller turbo, so if the 99 header is anything similar to the 2002 wrx header then IMO itís not the headers, well unless thereís a hole rusted in the flex section or a crack or something. Iím interested to see the graph.

See what it traps. Then go from there. If it goes 130 (mph) or less, yeah, you have issues. 500whp on ther real world is usually 500whp. That setup should be mid 140s.

Holy hell, Rigoli tuned it? Lucky bastard. Maybe he tuned on a dyno dynamics and it reads low. Run it on some other dynos and it could read a lot higher. Mine was making 340 on my tuners' dyno dynamics, ran it on a dynojet at a track and it showed about 40whp more.

like they have all said take it to the track--dyno numbers are just that a NUMBER not the gospel--dynos are just a tool to simulate going down the road and tweaking the mp under a load and they all read differently but mph plus what the car weighs will give you a general idea of what you are making.Trust me a lot of the numbers thrown around on these forums are high and just bull s t

I have always loved seeing the massive #'s people claim then never back up at the track. My car made 100+whp different from a dynojet to a known "heart-breaker" Mustang dyno. Dynojet #'s ended up right at 500whp/500wtq . . . car traps 129mph.

OP, how's the car feel?

So what did Rigolis say when you asked them why it didn't make the power you expected?
They'd have a 50x better idea than most keyboard racers
