If your allocation is set for march, you will get it in march. Don't get your hopes up bro cause getting it earlier than your allocation date is very rare.

Thanks for the suggestion! I assumed the bumper holes came pre-drilled.
I've only received one ticket for not having a front plate... I'll continue to not have one

The square JDM holes will be there, but they have to drill another set of holes for US plates, so that's what you are asking them not to do. My dealer already responded saying they never do that for WRX/STi's because so many people ask them not to.

I test drove a WRX at Cityside Subaru last year, they seemed very customer service oriented and willing to work to make a deal happen......
Post pics when you finally get it.....

Did you call the dealer or SOA for an update? I called yesterday because I saw someone else on the west coast got theirs 10 days early, but my ETA hasn't changed. I was planning on calling a day or two after the port date to see if there was a release or truckship date.

I'm normally more patient (lie) but I am playing in a baseball tournament in palm springs the weekend my car is due. Further complicating the fact that I already have to get down from the Bay Area to pick her up. I could make my life easier by just trading in my car, but it looks like I can get about 4k more by selling it myself up here, so I need to buy a flight down there, pick up the car, and head straight to palm springs. That's assuming it comes in on time. If it's not coming that weekend, it's fine, but then I've gotta get flights to and from palm springs from here. Or maybe it comes later in the weekend, then fly to palm springs, get a ride back to OC and pick it up on Monday...

So obviously the sooner I know what's going on the better. Though I have a feeling however it goes down it's going to be a last minute mess.

Couldn't you fit the us plates through the Jdm holes?

Order Date: 10-02-2012
Allocation Date: 03-2013
Pick Up: 12-13-2012

Dealer told me Subaru doesn't make them to order. They make whatever cars they want and attach orders to cars as their made. My order arrived quick because it just so happened that they had the vehicle that I wanted and my order was attached to it.

Ordered my swp base hatch back on 12/27 but a local dealer just got a swp limited hatch in. Tempted to cancel my order and get a little upgrade. Decisions, decisions. Any local opinions?

There is a license plate bracket by Totsubo that will convert the JDM holes to fit US plates. I just put it on last night and it works great.

Why wouldn't you? The SWP hatch seems to be pretty easy to come by, at least on the west coast there are tons of them in stock.

not me, CBS sedan.

I associate white with budget cost, feminism, and innocence, none of which I know anything about or would therefore seek to portray through my daily vehicle.

Black all the way for me, just like my intentions when on the road.... dark, move OUT of my way.
