![]() Ok. I bought my forester almost a year ago and it already had the EJ20X swapped in... Finally got it running correctly and took it to a tuner. I was getting quite a bit of knock at cruise before tuning. Load was under 1.0 on the log and rarely in boost. He pulled some timing and increased wastegate duty cycle.... Increased boost and got my a/f mix put of the lean mix. He told me it was too lean under full throttle. Now the A/F reads 11 under full throttle and around 14.7 at cruise. Occasional knock readings but still always under 1.0 load. Boost peaks around 16-17psi and levels to around 14psi. Im running a TD04L turbo and all is stock except Perrin turbo inlet. Also stock ecu from Forester. Automatic transmission. It has not been dyno tuned. I dont really have any questions but i put it on here for informational purpose.... Im learning and ive read quite a bit on here and any input or advice is appreciated. Its a daily driver and i am not looking to mod and im quite pleased with its performance compared to the NA 2.5L we have..... Thanks to everyone on here who took the time to post about this swap! Very much appreciated!

![]() Its been fine so far.... Its pretty slow on the low rpm until boost picks up. Otherwise it runs fine. I'm not a tuner, so i am trusting what my tuner does and says. He made some adjustments and raised the boost. The boost peaks near 18psi at WOT. Seems a bit high to me but it doesnt knock and the a/f mix doesnt lean out. So i suppose its ok.... Im still getting intermittent knock at low rpm and low load. Never happens in high boost. Its a daily driver and now its getting roughly 19mpg on 93 octane and the fuel in PA has changed to the winter blend. So i expect 21mpg this summer. So fuel economy is not at its best. Im going to run it a few months and probably take it back to have him take a look. Love this car though... Enough room for the family and with fortune auto coilovers and new falcon ze950 tires, it handles pretty good.
