![]() Well I finally posted up my megasquirt success story so I thought I'd put the link here in case my fellow subaru enthusiasts ever search for info on MS. I don't surf here much but I've found a lil info here and there. I'm a rs25 guy. Enjoy for what it's worth.

![]() My buddy has the custom wheel pics. I'm going to compile all the pics and install info when I get a chance and update the success story until it's more of a diy guide.

![]() Because on the ej20k, the iacv is huge and in the way of the bov if you want to upgrade from the weak jap tmic to the sti tmic I'm running. The iacv I used is an in line type so I made a flange to bolt to the oe location with a barb for a hose that goes to the iacv at the firewall.

![]() Coolness... working MS-I on a Subaru albeit with a standard trigger (24-1). Seems to be the easiest than to muck around with either 36-2-2-2 or 6/7 but since I need to run my stock ECU for OBD-II, I need to keep that trigger (I have 6/7). Had to goto MS2Extra because 6/7 required 2 hardware timers that is not available on the MS-I CPU even though I had code to support the trigger it's not going to be reliable. Still waiting for the GPIO board to make it a custom MS2Extra base board for pretty much a stock Subaru install (RS-T mind you on EJ251 no less - 10:1). You guys in Ontario or Quebec?

![]() IC - does the EJ20K use side-fed or top-fed injectors? Are the 660cc some modified STi injectors?

![]() You can use your oem iacv. I have an ej20k with the iacv in a stupid spot on the manifold. The oem placement does not allow the use of the usdm sti tmic. I used an in-line style iacv to remote mount it. Some german unit. Bosch most likely. The oem one is PWM so you'll be fine with it.

![]() Liar, I don't ACTUALLY have any pics of the completed wheel...
I will get some after Ver.2! The non-stepper Subaru IACs are no problem with MS. With the stepper motors I don't know if they can be made to work with the MS2 or not. |

![]() You know, I thought some of the newer ones did. But after looking a little closer it appears that people with newer subarus just don't know what they are talking about when discussing IAC.
![]() Can't find any examples so scratch that previous comment. As you can see, contrary to most folk on here my Subaru knowledge starts at about 1990 and ends at 2000. I like to limit myself to 10 years ![]() |
