Love watching a tach just about get buried. 15 years ago, I'd be drueling, but now, its like watching a very well put together car that a quality Honda Speed shop could have built in the late 90's.

I was thinking the same thing when I read it. The car looks pretty cool for what it is, but with that much power, you'd think it would be quicker. I don't get what's "legendary" about it though.

The only thing legendary there is the excessive use of superlatives.

It sounds like they modified a Civic enough to get it near S2000 performance.
Not sure how to translate the $$$ but I suspect an S2000 would be a bargain in comparison. |

While I understand that these models are priced that amount due to their limited numbers, it's still a ton of money for what isn't likely to become a collector car that probably won't retain its value as well as cars produced in those numbers should. |

It definitely is eyecandy but for $59K, get real. IMO this should be the si's power numbers.

Yup. But maybe ~240 hp would be worth it... not necessarily making it a better option than its competitors, but at least worth the dough with its driving experience, likely more so than the ~$22k a Civic Si costs today with that 2.4-liter.
