Default Adjustable Whitline Endlink Issue

I just picked up the Adjustable Whitline Endlinks Front and rear for my 2012 Wrx. I put on a 25mm Perrin front sway and a 22mm Perrin rear sway and they drove fine with the stock endlinks; However, I spent way too long today trying to install the Whiteline endlinks. Finally I "finished the install" took the car out for a drive and I felt like I was on a skateboard going way to fast. The rattle was equivalent to a speed wobble on a skateboard. It wasnt just clunking every so often in the turns, I was driving straight and it sounded like a drum roll. I now wish I had gone with the simple Kartboy endlinks, does anybody have any experience with these as to how to install them, or maybe where I went wrong? Pictures or anything would be great. It is very possible I messed something up in the install. The directions were useless, and extremely misleading. I thought if anything I would have messed up the rear endlinks with the spacer plate and all the crap that went with that, yet the majority of noise and vibration was coming from the front.

Thanks a lot!

did you make them the same length as the stockers? we need to see your pictures. they also need to be super tight. a loose endlink will make a clunking sound.

Fronts look ok here are my fronts with a WL sway

Rears aren't on correct it looks like. See below

Don't want to scare you, but I had my rear WL endlinks on for a week daily driving and this is what happened

Whiteline replaced them with the new style the next day. Just keep an eye on them and make sure everything it torqued to spec to avoid clunking.

- Thanks a lot. Its weird because on the very short test drive i took with the car it seemed as if all the shaking/rattling was coming from the front. But my rears are no doubt on wrong, was just a matter of me getting pissed off at the directions and thinking I was right haha. I appreciate your help.

Issue is back. Rears clunk a lot! I don't know if it is an issue with the combo of the perrin bar with the whitelines, but the endlinks are still at an angle. not a very severe angle, but at an angle none the less. If i shake the car side to side, i get the clunking even when the car is stationary.

Did you install them with the suspension loaded?

yeah I had the car on ramps when I installed them. After inspecting them a little bit there is clunk in the front as well. Here are some pictures if anything looks obvious, I am unsure if maybe the stud has been dislodged from the bearing inside the rubber boot and maybe that is what the clunking is. They are torqued very tight. Ignore the disgusting amounts of grease on them

Front"s look to have an extreme angle...Perrine bar might be a little shorter than the WL units..had a set of Cusco bars with the same issue. Can you shim the bottom (washer or spacer) so that they have less extreme angle?

The rear's appear to be mounted on the outboard side of the lower mounting bracket. Can you reverse them and mount on the inside?

Note: they all need to be torqued down quite a bit.

Front bar looks like it slid off-center. There used to be a trick with hose clamps positioned inside each mount to keep the bar centered. Maybe something like that will help.

Whiteline also makes a lateral lock for this issue. They are pretty much clamps, so they might be able to fit a 25mm bar.

I ended up taking off the rears, as there is no way for them to be vertical or even close to vertical in combination with the perrin bar. I inspected the links and the brackets for them.. One of which was slightly bent, and the stud on one of the links was stripped where it went through the sway bar. Not very happy with these: was originally going to get kartboy ones, however I was duped into buying these. Bad call, dont buy them if you plan to pair with perrin sways.

The Kartboys may or may not solved the issue in the rear. If the Perrin bars cause a large angle on the links to match up w/holes (like the photo) the kartboys may not fit flush. I had that problem on my STI aand the Kartboys needed spacers on the top to get them to fit properly.

I ran out of stud available with the amount of spacers necessary for the whitlines to work out, I understand most if not all aftermarket endlinks will require some sort of spacer, however with my setup, spacers did not solve the issue.
