![]() I purchased them like that from a seller. When the tread wears I'll end up replacing them with a new set of tires. For now they seem to be pretty even in diameter.

![]() Honestly, I don't think there is much difference. I heard what the STI muffler sounded like on a 2.5i wagon and wasn't amazed or anything. Seems like with both you get a cool lower-frequency sound when the rpms slow down to near idle. But either way, like you say, its for looks.

![]() I've now found myself a proud 2.5i owner. I'll get some pics up!
![]() ![]() Not the newest with all my goodies, but the only ones I have on the comp atm. (I think the headlights makes it look awesome. ![]() Last edited by Nitrous; 08-02-2007 at 06:06 PM. |

![]() There's a slight pickup in the low RPM Range. More noticeably from 0 to 1st and 1st to 2nd. Otherwise, it's nothing to go screaming for joy about =). A nice addition if you're looking for low cost engine mod.

![]() I have a 04 WRX dual tip on my car and I like it because it still has a bit more backpressure that us N/A's need than the stright-through STi ones
Finally I'm not the only one with a pistripe. do you have a SE? hard to tell by the pics if I see a sunroof or not |

Amen to that brother. I love my new 2.5i.Its a great car and a very fun drive. Coming from an equinox , being that this was what i could afford , and i live in montreal in the winter and ny the rest of the time. I love this car, my friends have a , 96 vw passat, a camaro, an eclipse, and a civic si, and they all want to drive my car the most for its torque and handling capabilities, believe it or not. There are plenty of options for this car, just having patience is key.Doing something to make it your own is what counts and if its what you love, then do it. I think its great to see all these amazing cars and the people that drive them.Go 2.5i's!!!! alex |

![]() Has anyone considered the possiblity of an engine swap with an older wrx 2.0 or a legacy swap? how bout just using parts from the legacy? maybe the turbo? Its the same engine so...??? There are really no engine parts for this car whatsoever either than an intake, pully and a few small things here and there?

![]() two of the same posts in two different threads, why?
swap you talk about is illegal, and not as easy as you think, turbo no one has really done it so be the first. And there is a decent amount of parts for your car if you search right |

![]() Go to the Impreza forum. There's a great thread on why you SHOULDN'T turbo the EJ25 or any N/A engine for that matter. You can if you wish, but it will end up costing more than a swap if you want to do it safely and correctly.
