i can assure you NO ONE will be sleeping in their cars. if it comes to that, there will be plenty of people who would be willing to share their room or at minimum floor space.

i can say i would have floor space available, just not sure about a bed at this point

Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it. I'm just unemployed until Feb, so I'm squeezing pennies to cover my gas money for the trip and I've had three different people back out on me for co-drivers

Since its likely that we'll see snow or some really cold temps aside from the common sense stuff does anyone have a "must have" list of things to bring?

If you check the 48hrs site there is a list of recommended items to bring along the trip.

I saw the list but was more or less thinking of other items that maybe arent so obvious. Ive packed spare fuses, spare wipers, rainx'd all the glass, first aid kit, tire gauge yada yada. Just figured we could possibly get some much needed bump action for the thread while we are waiting for the big day. Lol

Extra windhshield washed fluid, youll blow through it so fast and you dont wanna run out especially on back roads up north.

As for the rest its not that serious, common sense. And vodka. Make sure to pack enough to keep yourself warmed up at night

+eleventy billion on washer fluid, be sure your full to start and then have at least 1 gallon in the car and at each fuel stop replenish as needed.

im not going to comment on vodka, i dont drink, however it is fun being the sober one watching all you drunks.

Got 2 jugs of washer fluid. I may pass on the vodka since I have to be coherent the next day.
