Default 2015 WRX Foglight wired to headlights

I just bought a foglight kit that routes from a relay into the cabin for a switch. I was curious if I use an add a fuse that I could just tap into the headlights so they come on with them. Has anyone tried this?

Should work. Relay power on feed current is low, 1A.

Or you could get a switch that is always off/on not one that resets to off after restart.

On the 2012 it's like that I just leave the fog light switch on all the time in the winter so when I turn my lights on they always come on too.

Very true. Biggest reason I donít want to do the switch is because I would never use them without the headlights and the color of the light in it doesnít match the rest of my cars lights l.

I can confirm that this works and saves the trouble of wiring through the firewall and using a switch.
