02 wrx brake issues
Hey guys this is my first time posting here. I have an 02 wrx and when I'm driving down the road and hit the brakes quickly, as if something ran out in front of me, they are super hard and barely slow me down at all but if I hit my breaks casually they work like they normally should. If I hit them quickly and they're hard then let off and press them slowly they work normally as well. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? I'm afraid if something happens and I need to hit them quickly they aren't gonna work so I'd like to try getting it fixed as soon as I can. Thank you for any help you can give me

Are calipers and pump the original bits from 2002 ? Bake fluid older than 5 years ?

It's plausible the calipers are I came remember if I've put new ones all the way around or not and no break fluids is maybe a couple years I've replaced my disks a couple years back
