Default GC parts questions?

I can't seem to find out what bulb my fog lights take (Type B bumper, smaller fogs). I think they're H3 but not sure...

Also, my rear rotors. Are they the same rotors on newer Impreza's all the way to '05? Does this included WRX?

If i'm correct, there the same as the stock fog lights as the stock subaru bumber fog's. Which should be in your Owners Manual.

I have the 4-pots in the front and stock RS in the rear. I'm looking to upgrade the rotors eventually. I'm wondering if I can get a set of 4 intended for an 02 WRX, and the rear rotors will be the same.

if i remembered correctly the GC RS rear rotor is larger than the GD RS rear rotors. (10.7 vs 10.3 or something like that)

i'm guessing you could use the rotors for the 02WRX, but don't quote me~
(the only thing you probably need to change, if it doesn't fit, is the brakets)

the fog light is H3

I think I'll just mix-n-match rotors to be on the safe side hehe
I'm thinkin of picking up a pair of yellow H3's for the fogs and see how the look...

If you want to "upgrade" your rear brakes, a recommended way is to do the Legacy GT/H6 rear disc upgrade. It consists of the larger Legacy rotor and a new caliper bracket. Your existing caliper can be used in the new bracket.

Best thing to do is check the good 'ol technical forums for more info on it.

There's also the old legacy turbo rear vented rotor "upgrade", but that is a much more involved process which requires new rear calipers due to the wider vented rotors. Again, this info is contained in the "brakes" technical forum.

As for the fog lights, I'll confirm, that they are H3 bulbs. I don't recommend getting bulbs larger than the stock 55 watts. Anything more powerful, and you run the risk of possibly melting the housing and/or starting a fire! Of course, if you've rewired your fog lights and aren't running the thin stock wires, then run whatever you want.

LaterZ!
Darren!!
