I don't recommend anyone doing white. If you want to "try" white like I did, just look up pictures and then powder-coat them. Plasti-dip is the pain in the ass to keep clean and it just looks bad a week later. I however did white AND black just to see, only had the plasti-dip on for a week, now within the next month they will be powder-coated white, unless I just get new wheels..

cross posting this:
very easy, and did exactly what I wanted. This is the SPT exhaust. I didnt like the shiny brushed aluminum/chromey look, and was ready to trade for stock exhaust to avoid it. This took only a few minutes and went on extremely easy. I usually mess up plastidip, and it still came out perfectly. Last edited by corvid; 08-12-2012 at 01:02 AM. |

My front bumper and hood are riddled with 175k miles worth of rock chips. I saw that dude paint that Audi with plasti-dip, so it definitely piqued my interest in an attractive alternative to getting the entire car resprayed.

Lol. To each his own. A lot of flamers. I say if its your car and you like it go for it! I don't think it looks terrible. If you like it you can always make it permanent later.

just a heads up if you use black on your wheels and use the armor all tire foam the wheels look awesome for a week or so!! look like professional gloss and the stuff like 3 bucks a can and lasts months so i dont mind a quick little spray every few days.

So why paint this stuff on your car instead of just using regular spray paint?
