every single cluster ive seen has spotting.... is there anyway i can get a nice looking bright blue cluster for my 2004 wrx? with no spotting? and bright? im thinking about just saying f*** it all and just buy a STI cluster. might not be blue but atleast you can swap led's in them right where factory leds are and they wont spot.

Any chance you could fix the broken pictures in the first post? This is the best description I have found on the topic and pictures would make even better.

You could send a PM to the original poster to see if he still has them. He had them hosted on his comcast account. Maybe he needed the space, maybe he now has U-verse, maybe he doesn't have the Subie anymore & didn't feel the need to keep them. For things like this I wish NASIOC would just host the pics so they would stay. Just sayin'.

OK guys, I have it on good authority that the photos are out there in bit land, and unavailable. So, if someone does this, you could take pics and post them, referencing the original posts.
There is also the Interior Color Change Tutorial: Radio and HVAC Thread from Trunk_Monkey, started later the same year. It also has links to change other lighting in the car.

Man, its been awhile since I've been on here, I can't believe this is still a sticky and people are still using it as a reference. Makes we feel good that people can still use and refer to this. I will see if I can find the photos and upload them. Thanks everyone!

And thanks to you for putting forth the effort to repost the pics. I no longer need them, but as you can see others do.

is there a code or whatever for the bulbs? 3 of mine have blown now. there's a subaru part number but i was hoping they'd just have a name like H4 or whatever like the headlights do.

Just found this thread today, after finally deciding to do something about the missing backlight on LCD screen (it's only been like that for, say, ten years ).

No pics, but what the hey...maybe can swag it and even make a few pics.

Curious if anyone happens to have a pinout map of the climate control module (HVAC) for the '16 Impreza. Doing a project where I'm using parts of a second module, and I need power for the HVAC color rings, off of the existing module, to the secondary. There's like 20 pins on the back, and I only need +, -, and I assume a variable.

Idk if it's because I'm on my phone or what I don't see any of the pictures and you don't mention which vehicle this is for
