35 and I just worked a deal to trade my 18 WRX for a 21 STI. I put a deposit on a 2015 when they were released and ended up canceling my deposit since I bought a '13 EVO X at that time. So here we are... waiting on the last year in the same color CWP. Even ordered from the same sales guy who remembered me.

Just turned 35.

Bought both these cars within the last year.
WRX was completely stock, STI was in pieces.

Default How about 70+

I was "only" 53 when I got my first 2002 WRX wagon in Feb 2001. Drove it and loved it so I got a 2006 wagon, which I still drive. Has numerous electronic mods and only 78K miles on it. I'd buy a new one, but nobody makes a decent hot wagon anymore. And frankly I don't really want all the digital nannies that the newer cars seem infested with. Or an automatic.

So if you have not done the math, I'm now 73, and have been driving WRX wagons for over 20 years.

I’m 60 and still driving my 2005 WRX as a daily driver. It has been modded to stage 3 at TopSpeed in ATL, with 300 WHP and over 250,000 miles. Really struggling with keeping it because I moved to a big city with horrible parking options. Mine’s the one in the middle.

Default same question i had for myself…

48 now and still playing with my recently purchased 2012 Impreza. she’s got top of the line tires… coils, a few body mods and Stage 2 with many engine dressings.

the difference between 48 and 28 me is that i can afford it and then some. on accident when purchasing this WRX, i simply called crutchfield to update a head unit for HDMI capability. 6k later i had a sound system that gave the young ones their wet dreams.

yes. i know. there’s credit fr every one. anyone can do car mods, not everyone actually affords them. yes, i initially felt too old. as soon as that young one stepped to us at the light, LOL i showed him what 48 was capable of and how that off-ramp could be sticky at 90 mph.

enjoy her. i notice this post is super old. like me. update me and if you still have her.

mines fairly new to me and i’M having fun with it.

I went the opposite way. I had money when I was younger, I traded it for kids.

Impreza WRX STi

I'm 76 with a 2012 SPI sedan, bought new. Still bone stock. Resisted the temptation to mod; for various reasons.

Good to see older owners on here! I'm 47. Got my first brand new STi in 07 at age 33. Traded a 350z for it. I also had an 11 STi bought new and had for 10 years with FBO E85 and sold it to buy my 2020 STi which right now just has suspension mods and stage 1 protune. I'm planning finally going a bit further with this one***8230; Cobb 20g, FP green?, however I get obsessed with other cars too. The new Z, G8x M3/M4, GTR, GT350, even the new Bronco(2DR Manual).

AWD, Manual, hydraulic steering, affordable to buy and modify, practical with fold down rear seats, roof rack. These Subarus are well rounded which is why I keep buying them lol. Wish I got better than 18 mpg around town though.

Default 46 here....lord help me

Im a young 46 so theres that lol

Came from a 16 FoST FBO, but now own a 21 WRX with just over 2k miles. I have always wanted WRX and with the way the trade in values are these days I finally had the opportunity. I really enjoyed the FoST, but it started throwing CELs so I figured it was time to move on.

I currently have R400, new shoes for wintre, some interior and exterior visuals and am currently waiting on my AP and Big SF intake in the mail. Honestly, Im torn between even installing the AP for warranty reasons, but the power drop-off and the jerkiness between 1st and 2nd is KILLING me. I honestly don't know if ill be able to wait for the warranty to expire because I only put like 6k miles per year on my vehicles lol.

I turned 52 earlier this year and just got my 7th Subie, a '14 WRB WRX Limited hatchback from a single owner with only 52k miles on it. Haven't had a Subaru sports car since '10 & it was time to get back into one. The wife & I still love the '15 Outback too.

"I'm also under 30 and have a couple of modifications, but I'm honestly already looking at SUVs. All those racing aspects are starting to lose their charm. Although I can tell you that I've seen people over 40 who look organic with tricked-out cars. So do not worry and do not panic about it)

Default 40 with 2011 STI

I’m 40 and have owned my 2011 STI about 4 years now. It’s FBO with coils. Actually getting slightly bigger turbo installed now with all fuel mods.
