Sucks man, but I'm glad they are taking care of it for you at least. Keep us updated on the blame game!

I posted the VIN on the original post at the top so that there is a record in case someone else gets ahold of this vehicle.

The title is clean. About 8 transactions of where the car floated around in Florida before going to auction in Sept and then ending up here for sale in Texas. No idea who the previous owner was and what happened.

Since the dealer took care of the situation which I was very appreciative of, I hope this car gets flagged as a flooded vehicle and if someone does buy it, they are aware of the issues.

I'm sorta curious what you paid for this car. A new base STi can be purchased for well under $36k. I guess if it's in the high 20's it could be worth it but I've seen stupid pricing on these used all over.

Used car market is as expensive as the new car market due to Covid. This car last year for a limited might have went for 36k but likely not and certainly not this year. Here in Texas most new STIs are being sold over sticker. You're lucky if you can get them for sticker. Last year I saw a base STI for around 34k, now a 2021 base is 38k and they are now bending on the price. Most are sold before they hit the lot.
