I like how they don't say what STI is. They just say here is a SPT product but it says STI on it not SPT. And that SPT logo is a piece of crap.

Post Should I be laughing at this?

Went to the dealer today to pick some touch up paint.

Chris, the parts guy asks about my car (knows I'm swapping engines) and pulls a brochure out of his ass.

SUBARU PERFORMANCE TUNING
Genuine Subaru Perfomance Parts
IMPREZA 2.5 RS

An entire booklet on STi parts sold thru SOA as SPT parts. Funny thing is that they still have STi stickers and emblems on them.

STi strut tower brace - carbon fibre. $600.

*this pisses me off since I just bought this from dale for $290* STi shift kit. $260.

SPT "perfomance sticker package" set of 4 $48

Amongst others. Like the Titanium STi shift nob, performance muffler and intermediate pipe kit, leather interior package, STi shirts, mugs, key chains, knives, and a Pouch and Towel set.

I wouldn't be surprised if they offered a SPT set of Fog light covers and a SPT turbocharger. :P

Anyway, the rumors aren't rumors anymore. Call your dealer to verify. And might as well pick up a pamphlet.

Could someone please point me to this post or site? I can't seem to find any reference to it.

Bahamut didn't mention anything that wasn't on the original list. This was an ad that ran in several magazines maybe 3-4 months ago, including SCC.

Were there any REAL STi parts in there Bahamut, like suspension?

Unhappy

I stopped at the dealer at lunch today and they had no clue what SPT performance parts was, and had no catalogs of any sort. Where did you find this and where is the scanned version hiding? Its not the one under the downloads section here is it??

I'll have to see if my local dealer has them. They've had one of the Brospeed exhausts in a display case in the service area for several months now.

No Colin, no "real" STi parts like Suspension, just that short shifter. As far as your dealer not having it, that's not too surprising, I had to have my parts guy open up the box and pull out the catologue for me. Pretty new stuff.

And now I realize that this has already been posted, don't cut off my testies about it! I NEVER saw that post though, so I thought It wouldn't hurt.

Steve .. i have the pamphlet in front of me . I went to the dealer yesterday to get inspection etc.. and these were sitting on the table still in the plastic wrap (un-opened)...so i took the liberty of opening it for them. anyhow ...there is no web addy for this (in the booklet).. all i can tell you is to try a search on SPT (subaru performance tuning) - or - There is a pamphlet # on the back here ... maybe your local dealer can order it ...it's MSA6M0013 .

Good luck
