The "I need A/C cause its so hot" Thread.
Since it's so god damn hot nowadays, anyone actually using their Air Con?
I couldn't help it for the past week, and I just had to turn it on. I rarely use A/C, and I mean RARELY. I'm even sweating in the house, trying to chill and lax with the fan on, but that ain't workin too well

I use the A/C every time I drive. Even in the winter. Keeps the air dry

I just crank down all my windows and sunroof. Unless my cars been sitting outside for a while, then I'll run some AC to cool it down first.

I'm down with this heat, it's the humidity that I hate. Insta sweaty.
I have been using my A/C the last couple of days too and I normally hate the A/C, too dry for me. Does that make sense? I complain about the humidity AND dry air in the same post? |

with the garbage strike, im ok staying as far away from toronto as possible.
I seldomly use my a/c, I can remember the 3 times I have used in since buying the car. 1 of those times was sunday stuck in traffic on hwy 1. the time before that was cruising around kelowna last summer for an hour max. The 1st time was just to make sure it worked its definately roll down the windows weather |

Totally agree with you driz. The minute I step into my car, I'm already suffocating cause it's dry. My backs all sweaty and I need something to cool me down. I tried opening the Windows, but all I get is warm air and that adds to it. Its the humidity thats killin me.

Whats with all this "A/C makes the air too dry" talk... A/C cools you down by removing the moisture in the air anyways. So if it's too humid for you, use the A/C. If its too dry then don't use it. If it's too dry and its too hot then too bad? lol

Y'all should be using your A/C at least once a month IIRC in order to keep the parts from seizing up. Not exactly a hardship to do so recently.

I use my A/C all the time in this weather. On the weekend cruise with Fids and co it was on 24/7.
Rolling down your windows is good but a) The air is still not cold enough and b) it's too noisy to hear my gangster-rap. |

I use A/C all the time during this summer. My car is like a solar oven every time I sit inside it after work. Working under the humid heat isn't fun either. I miss winter

Drove around with my gf in her POS 94 Ford Taurus with a broken condenser. It was 107 degrees outside. **** that. My Sub needs to get out of the shop very, very soon.

lol I know you are driving your Ford Ranger with the windows up with the A/C on full! I love the heat and grew up in Hawaii but dam in the 25 years living in BC this is the hottest and longest streak I have seen! Lets see I'm outside at 1/4 to 9pm on the Lap top listening to Ice-burg radio drinking beer with one of those misters from home depot. And it's about 36 Celsius (which is 90 for you people from America) and your saying it's not hot! And my house feels about 10 degrees warmer I'm freaking here! |
