While I was there the seller informed me he has another bike on Craigslist. A pristine 2004 R1. This bike is in immaculate shape with some nice extras. This is the ad for it.http://anchorage.craigslist.org/mcy/2900892291.html

This is what the actual bike looked like. The rear tire beside it is brand new and waiting to be installed. A great deal on some very well maintained low mile bikes.[/IMG]

That's the color i want my R1 to be

Dsmkid, very nice! We should do a motorcycle meet this summer! Subarus are welcome, if they can catch up...

Well sometime this week my Raider is going to yamaha. Stacy says he may have a buyer for it. otherwise the bike show is coming up. I'm going to let them sell it for me. I'll probably be getting an FZ8 they got there. They had a FZ6R and an FZ8 on saturday when I went. Threw a leg over both of them. The FZ8 is a lot better balanced and lighter then the FZ6R and looks WAY nicer to. Can't argue with the price either. 8600 out the door.

Great bike at a great price. Those bikes have gotten stellar reviews Mav.

Someone is going to have a great summer***8230;New car and new bike.

This summer, for me, the car is going to stay parked except for autocross. I am tired of looking at this fleet of bikes collecting dust.

I gotta do the same. I missed some good riding last year by taking my car everywhere. Gonna ride a lot more this summer. Stop viewing the bike as recreational and more like mode of transportation. never gonna get good at riding otherwise.

She is still away on vacation. She'll be home with the kids by the weekend.
You'll probably hear the squeal on your side of town.

You already have a hot bike dude!

You gotta try the Mille R though. A whole 'nuther animal than the Tuono. We're gonna have a great summer.

If you wanna trailer a bike to my house to store it while your neighbourhood melts... let me know nomadgene. I'm already chipping away at the driveway getting it down to pavement.

You guys crack me up.

I'm stock piling ice melt and salt up here. I'll be out in April regardless of the record snow fall up here on the hill***8230;even if I have to build a set of ice tires.

lol snow wont melt up there till June or July.

I am itching to ride bad this year! I go to my window every morning to see what the road is like. Side roads near my house are just starting to melt and clear off. But we will get another dump before it clears :-(

Dry highways last I checked.
Personally, the way people are driving though, I'd wait a bit.
