Yea your right, that cover would be cool. I guess its something I never really thought of, but my last 2 cars had it too. I was actually looking for it assuming it was there lol.

how long does it take the to get it ready when it gets off the truck (assuming the start as soon as it gets off the truck and dont wait). i want to be there when it comes off the truck then wait for it.

2. Car feels stronger than the test drive car. Obviously havent WOT redlined yet, but it feels damn good.

3. Love the center arm rest extention option. Should be standard.

4. Glad to have HIDs, i missed them on my last car.

Good luck those of you still waiting.
1. im kind of regretting not getting it, especially since i got the sirius add on. but oh well, i think ill be ok.
2. when i bought my civic i tried to take it easy...but i didnt i was beating on it since day 1 lol
3. i got it too. good to see its worth it.
4. i had hid projectors retrofitted into my civic, and ever since then i vowed i wont buy a car without them, unless i have plans to retro them asap. i even plan on putting some into my 83 silverado (with real OEM projectors course)

So I guess I won't be missing out on the NAV Hu much longer. Just found a one from a crashed 2012 Impreza for $375. I have the premium WRX so hopefully it's plug and play when it comes in next week. *crossing fingers*

Not sure how long it takes. I got a call at 12:30pm and was told the car was ready to pickup. I was told it got there early AM.

I asked no dealer tags, badges and leave the car wrapped, no detail. That made it as simple for them as possible

Just an FYI, if you are transfering your tags, ask for their screws. They use tiny black screws. I did this myself as well and found out when using my old cars screws. Didnt work and stripped the plastic grommet in the rear. Easy fix, but save yourself my headache

Congrats! I haven't hit 300 miles yet in my car and I've been driving every night after work. LOL.

Got an appointment made at Modern Armor this Saturday for the clear bra. Woohoo!

Unhappy Bad News!

Order update:
11/5/12 ordered WRX base sedan PBP, fog, SPT exhaust, foot illum., armrest, short-throw, auto-dim+compass and other misc. goodies.

Arrived 2/20/13, but dealer called to say it came in as a hatch because they mis-ordered it. They looked around and located two possible substitute cars that they can get quickly but obviously they don't have the same options. I go there tomorrow evening to discuss options. Since I waited over 15 weeks, I'm not angry; at this point I'm just numb. Any suggestions for me with this dilemma?

They got you the wrong car. They'll have to find you one like your order at agreed price. They'll have to install the options at the dealer. You should get some kind of compensation. If not you can always get the consumer report involved.

The order code for the sedan is "DWN" while the order code for the hatch is "DXN". So a single letter error when they ordered the car caused all of this grief.

Will they sell you the hatch for the same price? The hatch comes with some nice options - bbs rims, fog lights. The hatch is great.

Oh I would be so pissed after waiting that long!! I would either make them find you a new one and eat the cost of accessories or make them give you a killer deal on the hatch and still eat the accessories lol.

When I ordered my '12 back on the first of feb '12 it came in the middle of march lol Things must have slowed down like crazy or there's a huge demand and they can't keep up. He wait is gonna suck bro....it did for me and I only waited a month and a half! Good luck making time pass and trust me, you're gonna love it!
