Default Anyone recently received a 3" hi flow cat for a Brullen recently?

The shop that fitted my 3" Brullen turbo back system (weeks ago), claim that Brullen are not shipping Hi flow cats.
Is this true?

555 BAT - just curious, which shop is this? The cats only come standard with the street spec down-pipe, and is optional on the race down-pipe. I'm guessing you got it from TRi Tuning right?

Default Yep

I got it from TRi. The deal was for the exhaust fitted with the test pipe, and the Hi flow cat 'in a couple of weeks'.
So far, it's been a couple of months, I've been told by Tri that Brullen is the problem.
Is this true?

Default Question

You said 'The cats only come standard with the street spec down-pipe' .
Will I be able to bolt a Hi flow cat directly into my system?
That was the Major deciding factor when I purchased a Brullen.
If not, what's involved?

Question Me to....

GTBGUY - I'm in the same position as Alan (555 BAT). I ordered the system to include the high flow cat. Was told that system was available as 'race type' and high flow cats would be along in a couple of weeks/month or so.
I to would like to know if the the cats will be a straight forward bolt in job ie. remove the short straight flanged section between the downpipe and midpipe and slot the cat in place.
Also, i'm obviously somewhat interested as to when these will be available (if not already).
And yes, I too got the system from TRi.
TIA
Mark

555 BAT - The difference between the Street Spec and Race Spec down-pipe is if it comes with the hi-flow cats. The problem at this time is not Brullen, and I can assure you of that. I'm not sure if you got my PM, but that essentially explains the situation I'm in w/ TRi. In anycase, it will bolt right on w/o problems Very simple to do as well.

Scoo Bee - Essentially just as the answer above. When I recieved the order from TRi to get them manufactured, he told me he wanted just the Race spec down-pipes. So hence no cats @ that time were manufactured. Feel free to PM me so I can explain the situation to you.

CRAZY KEN - no updates yet. FYI, if you're going turbo, I suggest saving the money for the hi-flow cat towards your turbo kit. It'll be such a waste, as none of the turbo kits will work with that pipe.
