Dog getting on the couch/counter/front seat in the car? Mousetraps!
They work surprisingly well for keeping them off when you're not around to catch them in the act. Eventually they don't have to be set, and after long enough you won't need them at all. ibThat'smean |

I may have to ask my dad if he has some antlers lying around. He hunts both deer and elk, and Maddy makes short work of pretty much everything else. Cow hooves last her a while, but uuuugggghhhh they smell like ass death.
I need to take a new version of Maddy's Christmas picture, but I do love this one: |

They know this and are very good when we are home or awake. Recently, Maddy has decided that she can lay on it while we are away or asleep. She always gets off before we wake up or get home though, but she leaves her paw prints and her fur. I don't even care that much, but my wife is pissed. I wish I could teach her how to use a lint roller to clean up after herself. (We'll probably have to use a mousetrap or something to keep her off.) |

^ i couldnt find mouse traps local that were plastic not metal. my solution was to prop cookie sheets upon the counter so when lilly jumped up she knocked them off making a loud noise. it stopped quick.

My dog kujo does the same thing with the counter surfing. He would stand up on the counter that was next to our sink which inturn also had a dish towel on it (he loves to chew on towels for some reason). I broke him of chewing on towels by covering a dish towl in franks red hot sauce, the GF was pissed that i did that but he hasnt chewed a towel since, but i still have a hard time keeping him from jumping up to put his paws up on the counter. I've tried putting pans on the counter he just knocks them off then jumps back up lol. All the dogs i've ever had before him never did the counter thing, but once he saw my inlaws lab do it once he has been doing it ever since.
he also just a big dog in general and almost is as high as our counter on all 4's thats him, he's a big moose! |

I'll repost.
Our Labradoodle Bella as a puppy (9 weeks here) and more recently. don't let her cute demeanor fool you, she has a hunting spirit. I had her out to bolton flats (local pheasant spot) before the season started in october. No training what-so-ever and she was putting up birds like crazy! |

That reminds me. If anyone is looking for a fairly large dog bed, Costco has some pretty nice ones in the store for around $20.00 that are fuzzy on one side and smooth fabric on the other. The cover is also removable and has a covered zipper, which is more than I can say for most beds at that price.

Moxon's hedgehog is his favorite dollie. Also his favorite pillow.
Sammy is less exciting but puts in a good effort. |
