Talking Random Joys That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread, But Which You Wish To Express

Let's turn that frown upside down!

This morning, on a particularly congested stretch of highway, I got to ride the wake of an ambulance transporting someone to a hospital that's around the corner from my office. It took about 15 minutes of sitting in traffic off my commute. Thanks, sick or injured dude! Hope you're ok.

Happy Friday!

My wife made me oatmeal as my mid morning snack today and it was divine!

Oatmeal under no circumstances, can ever be described as "divine". It's edible at best.

Getting in late, and still getting a nice parking spot.

Steel cut, loaded with almonds, cranberry's, pecan's, with a hint of brown sugar.

Approaching the bathroom just as the cleaning lady removes the closed for cleaning sign.

I now have my pick of any of the freshly cleaned stalls to make unclean.

The smell of damp earth after a summer rainstorm.

Slow cook hominy grits with butter and just a pinch of salt.

Not getting woken up as you approach climax during a wet dream.

When you let someone cut in while sitting in traffic, and they acknowledge you with a wave.

Or when someone comments on how well behaved your children are.

Shower beer. Warm shower + beer + clean sheets FTW.

That's nice. Also, finding a stall with the seat in the up position, indicating you're the first one there!

I looooooove this one. Sometimes there's even a little blue cleaner left over in the water. Virgin porcelain.

Absolutely gorgeous sunrise this morning. If it's the last one I see, I'll be happy.

Sounds corny but I love when my daughter smiles at me.

She is only 2 months old though and probably doesn't know better.
