Default Alabama Subies....roll call.

Okay, it seems that everyone else has a "State" titled thread, so I wanted to be in on the "In" thing to do. Post up about meets, shows, races, installs and whatever else.

Well not to sure about much up here in Huntsville but I know the usual group of cars meet out at staples every weekend around 9-10ish and then all go out and "spiritedly drive" 2 cars side by side on an old abandoned road or just cruise. People chime in I just got my car back and I need some fellow Subys to hang out with.

Here in Mobile there are more than there are on the boards. I know of at least 4 that drive around that aren't on here.

Huntsville has a area club on Mysubie.com, Huntsville flat 4.... Anyone who wants to hop in that's in the area is welcome. Monthly meets on first Wednesday of every month, and October 16 is a meet at the local subie dealership, open to all cars free lunch. Landers mcclarty Subaru. Help us get this thing going strong! And if any of you have a black hawk eye sti in Huntsville and happen to talk to a blacked out wagon that's me.

I'm about 20 minutes east of Noonagon in Baldwin County. My car hasn't been driven much lately. My wife is expecting a 2nd child so I think I have lost interest in the car. Can't fit 2 carseats in it lol. Well, not a rear AND forward facing.

Wait a sec... Can we not get two child seats in our cars?? Why rear facing instead of forward facing?

For the first year or so, gotta have them rear facing. It's safer for their necks in an accident. I can't seem to get a rear facing one to fit well unless it's in the middle. With it in the middle, another one will not go on the sides. Not with our car seats anyway. There are probably some smaller rear facing that would do fine but I haven't tested any others.

And with a forward facing behind my seat, his feet would be up against the back of my seat. I could make it work but I'm just trying to convince myself to get rid of the car but that's hard to do. I drove it today to get some antifreeze for a cheap car i just bought and I have a bit of an emotional attachment to the WRX lol.

Thanks Guys !
I will be staying in one of the Holiday inn's in Rocketcity. It's the one with that music act from Peter and the Wulf (heard about it from co workers who've been there before).
Not sure the exact name of the Hotel but i'll know it this wednesday and keep you guys posted.

EDIT: used google and i'm quite sure it's the Research park Holiday Inn near the Madison Mall.

A meeting sounds great !
