Is the 2020 Impreza getting a mid-model refresh or something?

I couldn't get a full answer to that either. Just "maybe a headlight and tail light change". This is probably the strangest since I've worked at the dealership.

It seems nobody knows for sure yet:
https://www.planetsubaru.com/2020-su...za-changes.htm

Expected:
Since the 2020 model will be the fourth year of the model cycle, we expect a "refresh." Also known as a the BMC (Big Minor Change), revisions typically include:
Exterior cosmetics, such as headlights, taillights, and bumper covers, and new paint colors;
Interior finishes such as trim pieces, speedometer cluster, and fabrics;
Modest mechanical improvements such as transmission reprogramming and suspension adjustments.

the next gen STI will have its own brand new chassis? or based off this 5+year old Impreza chassis?

It'll be on the SGP. What else they've done to it remains to be seen. Keep in mind, SGP is here for the foreseeable future. And the current Impreza is only 3 model years old about to be 4.

Uh, tranny is everything in a 0-60 run. The transmission in the Accord 2015 vs my 2015 Legacy:

175hp vs 182hp, takes me nearly 10s to get to 0-60, whereas my accord hits it in under 7s.

I pity the fool who goes on a test drive with me. The XT has some pretty small shoes to fill.

You may get close to 7s in your accord, but you're smoking crack if you think the '15 Legacy takes 10s. Ask me how I know.

Not bad for a much heavier car with full time AWD and CVT. The FA engine is going to be very quick. Can't wait for the SGP Legacy with the FA turbo.

According to what? Magazine numbers that are dogging the heck out of the manual to get it's barely quicker numbers than the CVT? Come on

I like the color. But as I said when the first shots appeared many months ago. Holy boring.
Need more/better pics.

I'm just glad it doesn't have bulging fenders flares.

It's on fleek.

This. Mine did 5.8-seconds 0-60mph and I’m at 4500ft elevation. They’re certainly not a dog.

I’ll reserve my comments on the new Legacy until I’ve seen and driven it.

When I see that side profile it reminds me of the clean side profile of my 2005 LGT. I loved that damn car.

0-60 in 5.5 and a 14.3 1/4 mile with launch control and awd. a new accord sport matches the 0-60 and is quicker in the 1/4 mile. yeah, the wrx is a dog.
