Not trying to be an ass, but it'd you could find a totaled wrx block and full harness it'd be game on.

Yeah, but you want 5k for it, and the chassis has over 220k miles.

I bought my wagon with the same mileage for 3k, and it needed the cooling system burped. =/

Yeah, Subaru's just effing hold their value. It's really stupid.

Now I'm looking at a GT2871r again... Looks like the 16g XTR doesn't hit full boost (24psi), even with EL headers, until 4700rpm. I was hitting 19psi at 3500rpm with stock manifolds.

I'll see what I can get one for through my buddy who is sponsored by Garrett.

yea but something with 180k plus on the car should not be worth 10k. Bassically how I am seeing it is people are thinking what they payed full value on parts makes the car worth full value too.

True. I wouldn't pay over 6 for a 160k+ WRX, regardless of mods, and in good working condition.

I know people would buy that sedan, but that price needs to come down to around 3-3500, otherwise he'll be sitting on it until his payoff is that low.

It is absurd how much value people put into their aftermarket parts, but if they can get some chump to pay, good fro them. lol

I think the craigslist modified car rate is ((blue book retail value of car in excellent condition) + (cost of modifications))*(installation factor which is ~1.3)

Grant from Subie Guys.

I know that's what you owe, but obviously it hasn't sold and that's because a car that still runs and drives with that mileage and of that age goes for about 5k, same as yours that's all blowed up.

Yeah call the Subie Guys up in TC and just see what they can do. I think you best bet would buy a new OEM SB and have them install it.
