Trusted source for a JDM Motor for my 2008 STi
Sooo...I popped my motor in my stock 2008 STi. Any recommendations for a trusted source for used/stock JDM motors?
Thanks in advance.

I had a good experience with Jspecauto in Richmond.

I'll look for the importer, in MD, that I used for my JDM STI Forester swap.. Good group of guys. Big discount for picking up and paying cash!
Also, I would look for a JDM STI Forester 2.5, myself.. (unless you are set on a 207)). |

After some research and reading Vlad's post (https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...r+2008+wrx+sti), I've decided on a JDM 02-03 Subaru STI EJ207 V7 motor. Now I need to track one that is worthy.
Does anyone have experience with MD JDM Motors in Beltsville, MD? https://www.md-jdmmotors.com/ They have a stock motor for $3000. I appreciate any feedback. |

I just bought some 4/2 pot, hubs, trailing arms (etc) from them off of eBay the other week. They actually dropped them off to me the day after purchase while doing a delivery to Baltimore. I was impressed with their friendliness and professionalism on the phone and with the workers in person. Just my experience

Maybe watch speed academy’s video on their sti build. They did exactly what you’re talking about with putting an ej207 into a gr sti.
