There is a vast improvement in quality over stock in terms of textural feel and aesthetic appeal of our leather. The Alcantara is even a larger difference, because it is a textured material by design.
In terms of red stitching Subaru uses different suppliers to manufacture different sub-components. As a result all the red stitching is actually a different color from the floor-mats, door-cards, steering wheel and seats. What we did was find a Red that matches as close as possible to the factory seat thread color because the are so close in the vehicle specially, but also has the same feel to the red that is used on the steering wheel.

Yeah that's pretty. Grip and materials look perfect.

I would love that center stripe but it would bother me because my steering wheel wasn't straight from the factory and still isn't after 3 alignments.

Looks good. How hard was the install? Let us know how it holds up, a lot of Subiespeed products have questionable quality. This one should be okay though since there's nowhere for moisture to get inside it

Geez, what! That would be extremely annoying, why don't you yank the wheel off and re-align that bad boy yourself....unless there is a different problem?

Installation was pretty easy, it was three clips that retain the air bag, few more clips that have the control harnesses and removing the wheel was super easy. It took about 25 ish minutes. Definitely will let you know how it feels, this is my daily so I'll put it through it's paces. LOL at the headlight dig, haha.

Just purchased torque solutions rear diff inserts but didn’t come with grease. I have some white lithium grease laying around. Would that be fine to use or should I buy something else?

The grease they should have come with is thicker. White lithium grease will work but you might end up with squeaks sooner than if you could use the proper grease.

Doesn’t look like it came with grease. What grease should I use then?

if you can find it, Silicone grease is your best bet. that's what companies like energy suspension, prothane and eibach use.

You could also try contacting torque solutions to see if it was just mispacked and have them send some out to you.

you can actually buy packs from prothane directly too.

http://www.prothanesuspensionparts.c...=gbaseprothane

if you need to get it done asap, go find marine grease. the keys are that they need to be "water proof" and really sticky so it can't be washed off when it rains or going through car washes as easily.

I have a raceeng knob, little different style, but installing them is the same concept. It should come with a threaded adapter and a bolt to allow you to have the pattern line up. Comes with instructions and there's plenty of videos on it. Not hard at all.

I really wanted the same knob with the silver core but couldn't bring myself to spend $150 on a knob. I ended up getting a Grimmspeed knob for $40 which I'm in love with. I may still pick up the Sphereology down the line - once I finish doing more important things to my car

Raceseng usually has an annual black friday sale. It's 20% off everything and free shipping. That's when I picked up my Slammology for $116.

I’m very happy with my shift Solutions delrin weighted knob. It was the heaviest knob I found that was weather proof. Really works well down to-2* in the winter here
