Default Broken harness for low beam!

Hey everyone I went to swap my bulb out yesterday and the plug for the low beam disintegrated when I tried to remove it. Subaru want to replace my whole headlight. I have a 2007 wrx. What should I do? See photo below for a diagram.

The bulb-harness is not sold separately.

The low-beam bulb is an H7. You should be able to service the harness and install a new connector. This will require the removal of the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.

Perfect thanks for that. I just ordered a new one. Why do I need to remove the unit completely? Could I just splice into the existing wire or is that a no go?

The bulb-harness is routed into the headlamp assembly, which means the wires are not easily accessed.

You of course have to take a look and decide whether you can or cannot service the connector with the headlamp assembly in place.

I just spliced in a new h7 connector with a but splice. I had a straight connector so it's pretty tight with the cover but it works
