does anyone know where to tap into the wiring for the window lock switch. that is one switch i never use, and would like to use it for something else. if anyone has ever torn that control panel apart, or knows where the wires end up, please let me know. thanks.

I doubt that this is the answer that you want to hear, but it is near impossible to change the purpose of that switch. I actually just got back from talking with a guy at my local dealership, and he was saying that it is directly connected to the circuit involving the other three windows. Basically what that means is that you can't just simply pick the two correct wires coming out of the harness. And because of the type of switch it is, you would most likely have to hook it up to another cirrcuit board.

Basically it would be really tough and it doesn't seem like it's worth the effort. Which sucks because it was a killer idea. If you attempt it and succeed, please let me know how you went about it

good luck

i was fearing that. oh well. i did look at a wiring diagram of the window system and saw that it was tied in. looked too difficult to attempt. thanks for posting the info though. i guess i'll keep my rocker switch.
