Dear hot girl in your A4:

I can guarantee that you will not prevent me front entering the on ramp of I75 in Tx. My car was just tuned by Keith fields and I assure you with 285 hp to the ground, your over priced, oil leaking, german piece of crap is not going to beat stop my intrusive lane change. PS, I hope you enjoyed the fumes from my dump tube as it entered your open window while I **** on your slow ass POS.

Dear people driving in the rain without headlights,

Your always-on driving lights don't count! In the pouring rain, it's nice to see taillights so that I can more easily avoid you when you decide to suddenly stop for no reason. How do people get away with this?

Sincerely,
Lights on

I remember trying to explain this to a co-worker a few years ago. They were dumbfounded.

It all stems from the automatic transmission, IMO. "My car can shift for me; why can't it turn on the lights, detect people in my blind spot, apply the brakes for me, warn me if I stray from the lane, brew me a cup of coffee, do my taxes, and give me a massage?" I seriously think these newfangled "safety" features are only going to cause more accidents because people are going to completely switch off their brains while driving.

Im right with you on that

Also brings up another rant,
Dear newer Audi drivers,
I dont know if its blind spot detection, radar guided cruise, or something else, but your damn cars make my radar detector go bonkers like Im being tagged with a police lazer detector. I know its your car and not you but its still stupidly annoying

I'm with you on this. I used to blink at people to let them know.

However recently, I guess, there's been a lot of gang initiations where the recruit drives without headlights at night, and the nice driver who blinks at the them is followed and beat the **** up and/or killed.

True story. Wish it wasn't. But now I don't blink at people and just yell at them to myself.

The "gang initiation" story has been going around since 1994 .. I heard the same thing in high school but never heard it actually happen to someone like the "upper decker" everyone has heard about it but never actually seen it

I agree 100%

All of these idiots who rely on technology rather than skill are dangerous to everyone. What happens when they find them self driving a car with no driver aids? Anyone who can't check their own mirrors and blind spots or anyone who can't park their car is just pathetic.

Dear older civic Si,
You loud turbo, carbon fiber hood, and nice sounding but stupid loud exhaust still weren't a match for my non-turbo subie powah. Honestly if you knew how to shift and didnt hit the rev limiter before each one you may have pulled out ahead, but honestly your turbo was stupid loud and you still couldn't get ahead of me

Dear 91 maxima,

I drove 200 miles today for work and I think you made more lane changes in the couple of miles than I did my whole day. Amazing I could stay in one lane (left)moving with traffic flow, and you zig zagged left and right over and over again stomping on the gas only to keep getting stuck and ending back in the left lane but instead of behind me, ended up cars behind me.

Driving like a dick ain't going to get you anywhere fast, and hope you and your teenage posse like the hard brake check and being stuck behind me the whole time. I watched you guys talk sh$t as you couldnt get around me no matter what you tried, and attempt to tell me I was number one as you couldn't possibly be telling me to f off as you guys are the ones that failed. I'd tell you to learn how to drive but i probably have a better chance of getting pregnant.

Sincerely,

Just the guy going home after long day of work you bunch of 12yr old want a be thugs sorry I mean pricks

Dear Mazda3 driver,

I will not race you on the main street in my town, or anywhere for that matter. Especially when you come up on me doing 70+ with a freaking school across the street. I really liked it when you flashed you high beams at me and swerved around. You are the reason I hate people my age. Thanks for the high insurance rates. ***hole.

Sincerely,

The guy that just got done with 12 hours of haying a field.

Dear everyone who tries to race me now that I have a Stromung axleback,

My car may sound fast, but she's still just a '98 Forester with 170 very tired horses. Kindly leave me alone in the slow lane and just get on with your lives.

Sincerely,
Boxer Burble

Dear Chode Islander in the subie, the left lane is for passing and you should stay right except to pass. Next time I will force you off the road in my 91 maxima.

Considering I was passing everyone to my right. But of course you were there to witness the circumstances.

Dear driver of the blue GMC pickup,

Offense count:
1) Tailgating
2) Passing over the double yellow line
3) Speeding
4) Having NY license plates

Okay, so the last one isn't illegal, but it should be sometimes. I was already doing 40 in a 35 zone; how fast do you want me to go?! Anyway, thanks for giving me an excuse to use my Hellas!

Sincerely,
Drives the speed limit

Dear teenage girl in the Audi Q5,

You were tailgating me, talking on the phone, and putting on lip gloss...at the same time. And then watching the body roll as you accelerated up to 55 on a back road to catch up to me after I went through a rotary didn't give me much confidence either. Please learn to drive, your mom won't be very happy when you total her car.

Dear "mtlivn",

Get the f off the phone and drive.

10 under along with the classic, no ones in front of me but I'm too busy trying to use my phone and not paying attention to the road, so I'll keep my foot on the brakes because my reaction time is gone.

Sincerely,

Watching you in your side view mirror.

Dear Harley rider,
It was a long day at work, my fuse is short, so stopping with your front tire close to 6" from my tailpipe is annoying. I dont care if you ride a bike you still have to follow the rules of the road and thats too close. You did learn after put it in reverse for a second as traffic started moving

Sincerely,
Tired + dehydrated driver just trying to get home to a cold glass of iced tea
