Default Dear women drivers of America: ****ING PAY ATTENTION!!!

So I was headed to the store on my lunch break, going about 45 down a divided four-lane road in the right lane. In front of me, I see a woman pull out into my lane from a side street (not turning into my lane, just straight across, perpendicular to me) and casually STOP, like she misjudged her stop sign by about, oh ten feet or so. I notice she's just looking down like she's fumbling in her purse in her lap or something. I slam on the brakes, lay on the horn, and literally come screeching to a halt about two feet from her car. She looks up and her jaw hits the floor, and she gives me a look like "OMG! I was just sitting at home watching TV, and all of a sudden, I was in my car in the middle of the street! I have no idea what happened!" I gave her a big , wait for her to back up, then continue on my way.

As I pulled away, I started thinking about the rock chips in my front bumper, and I wondered if maybe I should have slowed down just a tad slower to clip her and have her buy me a new one for my troubles.

Good job, lady. A winner is you.

Let me preface this with the fact that the thought of clipping her was just that: a passing thought. There's no way I would actually go through all that trouble to defraud an insurance company for a new bumper.

That being said, if she just pulled out in front of me and I T-boned her, with there being no physical possibility of me stopping in time (which wasn't the case here), how would I be at fault?

I wish I was part of that 99% when I was rearended by a woman who didn't see me slow down to pull into the gas station... woman said I cut across traffic and slammed on the brakes without my turn signal (I was so offended by that, I am religious about it)... damnit, the cop didn't even hear my side.

Driving from Cape Cod back to Boston this morning with the girlfriend.

Accident on I93N and traffic is backed up. 2 fire trucks, with sirens blaring, are splitting two lanes, with each lane pulling as far to the side as possible... except for one stupid soccer mom in a Grand Cherokee on her cell phone who just sits there, plodding along at 5mph. She moved out of the way after the trucks sat behind her for about 10 seconds.

My girlfriend rolled down the window, flipped her the bird and yelled some things that'd get you banned from NASIOC (damn I love her...).

Dearborn isn't as bad. Granted, ladies in minivans and burquas are bad, but not as bad. Plus, they only reason they drive bad is because they are trying to avoid the potholes on Ford Road.
