Default will a sedan front lip fit on a wagon?

Okay...I remembered seeing in the classified section that someone was selling the UK front lip. In the pic that they give it's obvious that it is on a wagon (it doesn't have the 3 split things on the vent) I know that this lip is for a wagon, but the seller said that they were able to get it on their sedan. So i was wondering if the reverse (sedan lip on wagon) was possible. There aren't any "attractive" lips that are wagone specific. I much rather like the sedan's lips, makes me wish sometimes that I got a sedan. Anyway, has anyone done this and can give me some insight on this? Thanks

i think they will fit
they are the same dimensions arent they?
most body kits are wagon sedan specific because of the sideskirts and rear section, i believe the front is the same

sedan and wagon lips dont fit, but you can have it modified to fit. i too dont like what's out there for the wagons. the reason i know they dont fit, is that i bought a sti lip, i had heard that they wouldnt fit so i bought it just to check. the lip sticks out 1-2 inches on each side. i thinks that's due to the fenders flared. mines at the body now and i plan to have it produced so wagon owners can at least purchase a sti lip. i will post pic as soon as it's done. again you can do this yourself but it would be more expensive. right now i'm at $570. and i havent gotten the bill from my body man. dave

Default Just wondering

Would it be possible to cut a STI lip in the middle and remove a few inches in order to make it fit ?

So my question is : " Is the lip only to wide or does it have a shape that simply doesnt' fit ?"

the front of the lip fits fine you will need to trim the front piece that goes in under the license plate, it the sides that bow out. that's where a bodyman comes into play if you've never done this before. i haven’t got my piece back yet to modify the mounting brackets so I don’t know what’s involved with that yet. Again if youre looking to buy and sti lip I will be having this produced in polyurethane. when i bought my lip i looked everywhere price was $450 to $575 plu shipping for a urethane lip. i do plan to have my price lower then $450 dollors.

That beautiful wagon goes against what everyone said will/won't fit. So??? I think the owner said that his dealership found a way to attach the OEM sedan kit to the wagon.

I would think that the front lips that are in 3 pieces would not be two hard to fit. Most of the work would be trimming down the center.

I am a fan on the STI ver1 and vaer2 lips. Someone is working on a ver1 replica for the wagon. I have thought about getting a ver2 lips and fitting it. The ver2 lip is two pieces so I would trim out the middle. Though at $500 I am not sure how ready I would be to cutting into it.
