That's great, you can support him. But the level of customer service has been atrocious. I've documented that here. You may vote Democrat, I may vote Republican, big whoop. Still doesn't change my experience with this vendor.

No, but it points to the problem being you, not the vendor.

You are hugely combative in your posts.

I have ONLY your words to judge you, and they are not your friend today.

Everyone else has gotten prompt service and been happy with the result. You're ranting and raving about cracks and RMAs and UPS and insurance and lawsuits.

You make outlandish, hyperbolic claims:

Quote:
How can you guys do business with such a shady character? This guy is INTENTIONALLY trying to screw me...

I have felt ZERO customer support throughout this whole ordeal...receiving defective lamps, sending them back, and being SCREWED!

Please TAKE EXTRA CAUTION before buying these tail lamps or doing business with Dan at MachV. They don't really seem to care about their customers.
It's an attack piece.

Simple science says: you are the problem. EVERYONE ELSE is happy with the service they have gotten from Dan with this product (which clearly has some issues) and you are the sole, lonely outlier who says it's HORRIBLE.

So no. You don't get respect for your position. It is a logical fallacy to assume that any position deserves respect.

You are an unpleasant, confusing, angry person. I would completely understand why they stopped taking your calls.

You do NOT say what the current disposition of your order is, but I suspect that your money is either refunded or in process of being returned to you through one means or another. I pity the next vendor to receive your wrath.

So I am the problem that I received defective tail lamps?
I am the problem that I have done everything Dan has asked me thus far and I am still being treated like I'm the one responsible for all this?

As far as I am concerned, you should not participate in this thread rogue. You can try and twist it, but I go back to the same thing...it doesn't change what has transpired. Maybe I am the outlier...but I am still waiting for that awesome customer service you guys apparently got that live right down the street from MachV....hmm...

I, too, would also like to know the current disposition of my order as I can't get a return phone call or any update on what's being done. Like I said, the UPS Claim that Dan requested was cancelled because Dan refused to let UPS handle the package. So if you want to say derp...that is a derp and totally wasting my time.

You are a peach.

You join this forum, brand new, and you tell the moderator when he can and can't post.

I am moderating. This is moderation. My job is to get into the middle of things.

But thanks for posting about this and then telling me not to post. You are clearly the master of all things.

Just for the record, I have been in touch with TheSilverSubie, and we are working through a UPS claim on his package.

Because your first post trying to moderate the situation was incredibly biased. You have been combative yourself. You try defame me here, calling me a "peach?", and try to reduce my credibility. It further diminishes my consumer rights and frustrates the situation more. I have done nothing but respond with facts.

You have responded with hyperbole and slander at every turn.

"Peach" is not combative.

is not combative.

I can't "diminish your consumer rights" because that is a nonsense sentence.

I don't have a dog in this fight but while MachV/FastWRX does seem to generally have great customer service (as noted by many people in this thread and across NASIOC in general) my own experience with them was meh and I have a friend who was screwed out of $200.

I guess my point is that not every business is perfect and just because the majority have positive things to say it doesn't mean that there are some transactions that just don't go as smoothly. Food for thought.

You lost me at where you told me you live down the street from the company that is screwing me. Can I request a different moderator without the bias? Honest question.

Sure. Use the Moderator Request Form.

These things look great I might have to pick up a set

Sucks to hear about a negative experience with a vendor but I hope it all works out in the end.

Considering the bias is the location of the moderator and my seller and the potential for personal relationships to trump reason...

I never requested moderation lol. I needed a moderator to get rid of a moderator...that's it.

What's not good is the fact I initiated it as requested and then when UPS came to pick the package for inspection, MachV denied UPS that right.

Now I've been asked to file a second claim now that MachV has had time to rebox the Valenti's in a manner different than the way it came, in a sense greatly reducing the chance for a claim to be awarded. It's all very shady while wasting my time and money.

I actually originally relied on your recommendation thebanker, to start a return.

I wouldn't be so quick to be upset about the UPS inspection thing. Sometimes, crap happens. Fastwrx.com is not like Amazon shipping and fulfillment, it's a small operation. Most of the vendors on here are one-man shows. So give it some time, be nice (that will always get you far), and be patient.

Thank you for your reply. I am trying very hard to be patient but this is now going into the 4th week of this debacle.
It's just ludicrous that the customer, me, spent $429 on a product, and has neither a product nor my money now. The planet I am from, that is not good business and as a consumer who believes in justice, I will protect myself any and all ways possible within my given legal right.

I don't want to get into arguing on here, but if I'm silent, I feel like I might be implicitly agreeing.

The package was right here in our showroom for inspection, it just wasn't all packaged up. It was apart. Outer box, air pillows, inner box, inner packing cardboard, two lamps, all separate and apart. It was in no way ready to leave with the driver. I told him that. He left. That was it. I did not "deny UPS that right." In the rare case we've had to have a package inspected before, they just came by and looked at it. I didn't expect them to actually take it with them.

It is repackaged exactly as it was when it arrived here. I have neither the time, inclination, nor motivation to package it up any differently.

I returned these to you 3 Day Shipping Insured at my own expense, it only hit 3 cities on the way to you. I wasn't even contacted by you after they were delivered. I had to reach out to you 4 days later to ask what's going on. More time wasted.

That's fine. You can waste more of my time. But I notified you via email and phone on 6/5 (the day this claim was created at your request) that UPS would be by to inspect OR pick up the package. Not my fault you weren't prepared to service your customer and still had them laying about 3 days later on the 8th. But your customer paid $429 and has no product and no money. Original product was already defective acknowledged by you Dan. Such great customer service you won't take a phone call or return one to a customer with a service issue. So do I just keep reaching out to you here? Do you respond to smoke signals?

Now your case is locked because of refusing UPS the right to the inspection. I will have to make a new one and start this process over again. So wonderful working with Mach V!
