Default Waterless car wash tomorrow in Houston

My brother (I'll be helping him) will be setting up at Traders Village (7979 N. Eldridge Rd., Houston, Texas 770410) doing waterless car washing and detailing tomorrow (08/20) from 8am - 6pm. His main shop is located in Santa Fe, TX but we're going to give it a shot tomorrow at the village. Come on out and get your car shining like new! If you look at the TXIC Discounts thread, there is a list of the discounts he offers.

Waterless car wash? I... I... don't know what's going on...

What's the deal with dry cleaning? They have to use some kind of liquid. Have you ever gotten something off an article of clothing with your fingernail? That's dry cleaning. - Seinfeld

I have done this before with quick detailer. I always called it "ghetto washing"

Is the stuff they use the same as regular quick detailer? That is what I always used, never knew there was legit stuff for it.

The stuff my brother uses is high quality chemicals from a variety of vendors, but I think a fair amount of the products come from the Chemical Guys.

Default Waterless Car wash

I saw your video on waterless carwash, have you ever tried a product called aquanil-x by croftgateusa? They are an eco friendly and manufacture all the waterless carwash products that you will ever need.

Here is a video of them doing a Rolls Royce Phantom click here

It went alright - not as good as I had hoped. We did around 8 or 10 cars. The guys next to us who were doing headlight and taillight tinting/restoration (they've been in the same spot for 4 years) said that you really need to stick around for a few weeks before people start spreading the word and you get recognized. They also recommended coming back around the end of September because that's the busiest time of year at Traders Village since the heat is starting to fade. Talking about heat - wow, that was one HOT day! I don't think I've sweat that much in a long time! We'll probably try to spend at least 1 weekend a month out there and maybe keep the main shop open too.

I passed the link to Croftgate on to my brother. He's going to order a sample and see how he likes it! Thanks for the info.
