Yes, that is correct! The part numbers are not technically from the Spec B, but the ratios are the same so that's what they've become known as.

Exactly what most people are looking for. Them longer gears.
Drives like a 5spd with a highway gear |

For a daily driver the longer 5th and 6th are perfect. For a drag car the normal 07+ STI 1st-4th will do the job for nearly all cars as long as you rev them enough. Fuji knows all about this

What revs are you at when cruising at 75mph?

Higher than what? I'm currently running a 07 STi 6-speed and at 75 mph, I'm a tad over 3,000 rpms. Trying to see what this spec B 6th gear brings at that speed. I'm interested because my tuner kept it at closed loop until 3, 000 rpms after we discussed fuel economy during my last tune.

Thanks for such a thorough write up. Now I know exactly what I need in the future when a swap is needed and not to fret the compatability of my 5x100 wheels and the 5x100 brembo kit I see in my future

I have a 2012 wrx hatch I'm going to do this in. So the 6 speed bolts right up to the motor no problem? Do I need the sti clutch line or will the wrx one work? How hard was it to hook up the dccd pro? Are the wrx front axles still good enough? Or should I get sti fronts?

Nvm I saw your comments further back. I'll be ok. My last question why do I need 3 more flywheel bolts I thought the bolt patterns were the same between wrx and sti?

OK but it will still bolt to my crank though correct? No special adapters, just 3 extra bolts? That's strange. Thank you for all the help xluben, I bought an 08 Trans, diff and axles, with some odds and ends with it. I just wanna make sure when it gets here I have all my bases covered. Your thread by far has been the most helpful. And with the mapdccd did you like the preloaded auto settings or did you go further and make you own settings?

Yeah, it will bolt up. Just use the extra bolts.
I have played with some custom ones for drag., but the auto settings on the MapDCCD look great. |

Yeah I went on the website, doesn't seem to hard to hook up. Just time consuming if anything. Did it give you much trouble wiring up?

When you pulled your rear diff. Did you leave the axles in and drop it out as an assembly?
