when your work place is 1 mile away but you still make the rex warm up 10 minutes with the remote start each time you go to/from work.

and you go through a full tank of gas per week as you play rally car in the snow and drift every corner coming from and to work.

when your next door neighbor comes over to look at your car and says "it's kinda noisy isin't it? " and you know that cat back is gettimng on his nerves when you start the car at 5 AM.

How much for the remote start? I desperately need this. Last few winters sucked without one.

Funny that you say this because I've found that the heat in my wagon starts working relatively quickly. I don't need to let it warm up. The gearbox doesn't really warm up until the car starts moving anyway, so it's not like it would shift better either.

This one made me laugh because my 10 year old stepson saw my new WRX last night for the first time...within ten minutes I had him and his 3 neighborhood friends in the car rolling a stretch of windy back roads. They were laughing, one said "This is better than a rollercoaster!"

Then when we got home, every kid was taking pictures while my son yelled "Don't post those pics saying that's your car, that's OUR car!"

Around 300$ installed. 3500 feet remote.starts the car and lets it idle for 15 minutes. Also has a built in turbo timer that will let the car idle 1 minute before shuting it down

The two neighbors I've become friends with have visited me for exactly the same reason. Both female.

I'm either extremely good looking, or very easy to get along with.

Or they didn't feel like starting something by telling me to grow up and buy an adult car.

A guy with a mean Deisel truck used to live next to me and he'd hear my car turn on and drive past in the morning and one day he was like "a Subaru sounds like that!?" I had to explain there are "Fast ones" and the horsepower to weight bit :P

When you open the door to another car with the window down and stab yourself in the chest with the window frame.

Thanks the info. Is it oem or aftermarket, and if so what brand. I've been told some Subaru's don't work we'll with non-oem starters.

When you call the cops because of an asshat neighbor who left his car parked ON YOURS for an hour and never left a note about it, only to find out through other neighbors who took a picture on their phones. Despite it only left a small mark in the rear bumper that ****er had to pay for being a douche! The best part is when the cop shows up he totally understands because he is the same way about his truck and keeps it in a garage for the that reason

Or that you let your boyfriend use the garage for his WRX because let's face it, it's much nicer than your 2.5i and is clean as ****.

When every time a new person gets into your car, they ask "what are those?!" while pointing at your gauges and you have to explain a/f ratio to them.

When you know the weather better than a senior person because you check for snow on an hourly basis.

This, but with a mounted AccessPort. I don't bother explaining ECU flashing to most people, I just say it makes it go faster.
