Seattle-North 5EAT rebuild?
Any recommendations for a transmission shop in King or SnoCo (prefer north of Seattle, but not an absolute) for rebuilding the 5EAT in my stock LGT wagon?

AWD Auto in Kirkland. I know they rebuild many 5 speeds.
Its odd that Drive Auto Sport said they don't do trans rebuilds when they are owned and operated by AWD Auto |

Updates: Drive Auto Sports is relocating to a spacious shop in Everett! That’s sweet news for me. (Also will be next door to a great pizza place, so there’s that.)
As for my Leggy, took it to reputable shop (Ed’s Transmission Northgate). They were able to pull the code (rear speed sensor), but could not diagnose a specific issue or get the transmission to misbehave. It’s been a couple weeks since then, and it hasn’t thrown a code or mis-shifted since. *shrug* Looks like I’ll just keep on enjoying it while it lasts! |
