Tri state subaru swap meet??

Hey guys any interest in a Tri state subaru swap meet. Buy, Sell, Trade....I know everyone has some stuff laying around there garages they would like to get ride of...

I know of a great spot, thats easy to get to for all (off I95)

also good way for vendors to bring out there stock.

I do realize that this goes on at meets allready but figured lets make this one dedicated to swaping, selling, buying.

let me know what you guys think, and bump this at will......

UPDATE: the spot im thinking is in PA i95 its called the cornwells park and ride (its a train station) that sits right off i95 you would get off on the park and ride exit from 95. its about 10mins from tacony bridge, 10mins from franklin mills mall, 15mins from center city philadelphia...we should be able to get alot more people there...not just the 5 that responded so far

lets start having anyone interested in this just post that youll go, and lets ALL think of the perfect date to where most of us can go.....ok guys, thanks, bob

I am a vendor.I could bring tons of stuff,but I wont be available this sunday and next weekend is the scooby shootout and mothers day.

I could bring some whiteline stuff,cusco stuff,apexi,sparco,maybe a set of AGX's and possibly some replica STi stuff.This could be a great idea,but it will need a better time frame.People need time to plan.

Well,as long as there aren't any big events going on that day both sound good.Obviously the more into the summer we get the better the weather would be.

I will bring alot of new product to this thing so I hope that everyone would want to come out.

here is a little tip courtesy of the tri state meet whore...(me )some n00bs may not know that

anyway

you might want to check with local officials/train station owners as to the legality of taking over their parking lot for the purpose of selling goods.

#2, you may want to give more notice...

the weekend of the june 1st is STPR, most scooby enthusiests from the area will be there

but im down, I think this is a great idea.

I can talk to the local flea market down here in lakewood and maybe get them to let us use a good section of their grounds for this to happen.

Pleanty of parking and tables.Plus we can't get booted cause its a flea market.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have a problem considering they dont ever even come close to having all the tables filled.Plus theres food,drinks and its easily accesed off the parkway.

Im down for this, i gotta bunch of stuff to get rid of, car stereo, head light bulbs stock suby parts u name it, i wanna get rid of it, ill take my suburban out and get rid of this stuff. may 26 is ok, may 25 is qb meet.

I checked the Ft. Washington Expo Center calendar. They do not have an event on 26 May 2002.

I sent them an email asking if we could use their parking lot.

They probably will say no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

In the meantime, I am thinking of more places to ask.

The Flea Market sounds good to me too.


Let's make this happen. I want to meet all of you and put some faces with the names.

glad to see a nice responce to this. and also glad that your all pitching in ideas of a spot. like jet said lets try to do this on a weekend wheres nothing going on like an e-town event, atco, or maple grove. im going to go check there schedules when i get out of here.

i thought of a great spot to meet but its kinda difficult to get to......its a local shop here...its about 10 mins. from i95 on rt. ! near neashaminy mall in PA. its called drivers choose. im sure steve there would be more then glad to have a parking lot filled with potential customers !!!i can ask him.....but what do you guys think???

flea market sounds good but if we have to pay for a table i think alot of guys wont sell......

MAY 26 i also agree on....

no events going on that i know of (except maybe a subaru swap meet)

now i'll ask the shop owner what he thinks.. shouldnt be a problem cause abunch of my freinds and i meet there on sundays anyway.....

or i'll contact the train authority for that train station......for those who dont know this train station could hold about 2000 cars, it was in the news because of its size and how only 1/4 of it is used during peak hours (cost millions to make)..i dont think a sunday is peak hours.......
