damn thats what I am gunning for without busting my tranny. Waiting to save up for the blast plates and hoping that holds with my power goal.

is clutch smell normal even with good launch? Done it a few times on stock clutch, havent really messed with upgraded clutch, very grabby.

Shouldn't really smell your clutch if you do it right. I didn't smell clutch at all at the track. If you smell it, you're slipping it too slow. I tend to launch around 5k; in terms of clutch modulation I don't side step it but basically let off as fast as possible while mashing the gas. Seems to work.

I think I've got the car sorted and my tune corrected. I'll be running a couple logs tonight and if everything still looks good I'm hitting the track tomorrow night.

One of the last T&T's for the year so fingers crossed it all looks good tonight and I make it out tomorrow.

Ran some logs. Saw a bit of timing being pulled way down low but I've spent some time cleaning up my timing tables and I think I've got it sorted. AFR and boost were dead nuts.

Time for the strip tomorrow night. Perfect weather, should be around 65*.

Well that sucked. Made it to the track and was able to get one garbage run in all night.

Between the sheer number of people, at least 100, and multiple cars literally blowing their transmissions to pieces and spraying oil everywhere it was a terrible night. I'm not joking when I say one guys transmission was entirely in buckets by the time they picked all the pieces off the track.

And guess who was the first guy to run in that lane after they got it cleaned up? Yep. Me. Terrible launch, terrible run. I tried to go again but after a half hour of sitting in the staging lanes going nowhere I said ***k it and went home.

Milan Dragway sucks.

I guess I'll try for 11's in the spring back at my dumpy track that I can actually get runs in on.

End of the year can be a real drag...

Wouldn't be surprised if you ran faster on the "dumpy" track anyway, awd ftw.

Pretty “healthy” trap though. I am really curious to see a good run. I would think you are very close.

Best trap on my previous trip was 112.5, most were 111.

Looking forward to the spring. We'll see how I'm feeling about dropping cash on the car but I would really like to take the next step and go drag brakes and a lighter wheel/tire setup for next season.

Lots of time to work on the tune now, so we'll see if I try to get some more out of it. I'm running pretty conservative timing so I may throw a couple more degrees at it and see if it's worth any decent gains.....
